Hi i live in Australia and i have no idea what to buy/try but i want to try e-cigs to quit smoking the problem is that Australia has banned Nicotine based liquids so can only get 0mg liquids here i have purchased this one today

http://www.evape.com.au/products/510-Starter-Kit.html

I
wonder how i use it, also is it a good choice i also purchased separately a bottle of peter jackson flavored juice of course 0mg i know it will be hard as i have no nicotine in my juices but what do you think is the above one ok to to try the e-cig out? which would you recommend? keeping in mind i live in Australia and no nicotine allowed :(

Hey Cheyenne welcome to ECF, I am also from australia and was also concerned with the FALSE news story and the standard response from government but after bouncing some emails around the TGA basically stated... "The TGA does not regulate for personal importation" when I asked if I could inport liquid nic.

I have had no issues and am about to order a large order from RTS Vapes (who I have ordered from before) to put in the freezer, Just incase things change

I started with a 510 myself and when I felt comfortable I upgraded and never looked back, so I think that you will be fine.

how hard did you smoke?

I smoked like a pack a day and got 24mg and Im good to go.

You never know, I'd try the zero and see. A big part of smoking for me was the throat hit and exhaling smoke...

I couldnt quit on 0mg but everyone is different. I'd order some with nic today though so you're not waiting too long if the 0 mg doesnt work out.

If you can't get/use nicotine because of the law, this is what I did. I cant use nicotine for a few months due to health reasons. I had my regular analogs and my 0 nic ecig. Was smoking a pack a day and stepped it down gradually over a month or less. At first allowed myself 10 analogs/day. I was suprised at how easy it was to step down. The hard part was going to 0. I was fine with 3-4 analogs + vaping 0 nic, but day 2 cig-free was the hardest. I'd get there and need some nic. Eventually I made it over the hump. Took about a month, and I've been vaping 0 nic exclusively for 2 weeks. What helped was getting all different flavored carts. Some flavors I would never vape again, but there were very interesting to try and got my mind off nic fix while I was trying different flavors. Wasn't super easy, but it was much easier to get off cigs this time around with ecigs.

Hi Cheyenne, I live in QLD. What most of us Aussies do is buy unflavoured nic liquid from overseas, i use RTS Vapes. Then we buy our flavour doublers from Australia (Vapebar has nice ones, and Vapeking) and mix our own juice. An easier option to start with is to buy some pre mixed sample bottles at various strenghts, so you can work out how many mg is right for you. You can get them from anywhere overseas that will ship to Australia.

Unflavoured nic liquid Liquid Nicotine

Flavour doublers Premium e-Liquids
Vixen Vapors by Vapebar

Pre mixed juice with nic Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

E-Juices/E-Liquids : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--

If you do decide to mix your own with nic liquid and flavour doublers, you will need some empty bottles, and some pipettes, you can usually get these at the same websites you get your liquids, under DIY sections. Also do some research on mixing, but a simple way to do it is to order the nic liquid at double the strength you want to end up with because when you mix it it cuts it down. For example if you got 36mg nic liquid, and mixed it 50/50 with flavour doubler your final product is now 18mg.
