Can someone give me some facts and advises what brand is good for a starter like me. I'm from the Philippines and i just want to quit my habit,so i'm thinking to get an e-cigar as an alternative to my habit. i don't have ideas regarding to this matter, that's why i'm asking from the veterans a tips and advises.

Where at in PI? My wife is Filipino. Id start off with a ego type and some cartomizers easy to get, easy to maintain then grab you a mod if you decide you want to vape and not just quit smoking. Read the new members stuff lots of good info.

IMO, the best first starter "kit" would be a Vision Ego Spinner battery with a Vivi Nova on top. It's really that simple. That's what I currently use everyday, until the ole ProVari Mini shows up. ETA Tomorrow!

An Ego model is a good starting point. It is about the size of a cigar and has decent battery life. To go with an Ego, I recommend cartomizers. Cartomizers screw on the end of the battery and contain a heating element that is wrapped with absorbent material. They can be refilled and used for 1-2 weeks. Ego-style batteries last around 6-8 hours between charges and generally have to be replaced once a year. As for the liquids you use to fill the cartomizers, you will need to try several before you find one you like. You should also try different nicotine levels. If you smoke a pack or more a day, I would recommend getting some 24mg liquid. You should also get liquid ranging from 10-18 in case the 24mg is too much for you.

There are a lot of vendors and a lot of options out there, so take a look around the site and look through the lists of suppliers.

If your starter kit does not have to look like a cigarette to you, or if you are considering upgrading from one of those kits, I recommend 2 eGo Twist or 2 eGo Spinner variable voltage batteries (which together will last you over an entire day between charges), an Ego charger, a USB wall adaptor, and 3 large capacity clearomizers or 2 Mini Vivi Nova tanks.

I recommend two batteries at the minimum. You will need a second battery to vape with when the first is being recharged. In addition, it's extremely prudent to have backup batteries. Batteries do fail, and you don't want any reason to believe that you need to buy another pack of cigarettes once you have quit. I know, I've been there.

Next you will need to order some e-liquid. I have recommended two juice vendors below.

Whatever you do don't start with a 510 like I did. It worked ok but the battery life was pathetic to say the least. I use an EGO now and its great.
