Hi all,

First time poster here. I have been lurking for quite some time now and have got a 510 to start off.
That was about 1 week ago and I am already hooked (darn).
I think I need something better then the 510 regarding Vapor and hit.
I was looking at the Prodigy V3.1 or the Precise 18.
Which of those would you recommend and maybe some of the cons on each.

If you could guide me to a thread regarding how that Dripping works that would be great.
I tried searchin but somehow that did not work.

I was so glad as I found this forum. I am of course a bit overwhelmed and without you guys I might not have given it a try.

between here and there
Hello and welcome. Tell us a bit about your (old) smoking habits. Going from a starter kit to the top may be a bit of a shock for you? That's like going from the basement to the attic.(so to speak). Dripping takes a little practice, but escentially you just put a few drop onto the atty and vape away. Gives the purest flavor hit.
I am sure others will be along to tell you acout the Prodigy and the Precise. I haven't used either.
:)

I like the Variable Volt option as you can set the voltage to whatever you like. Some juices are better at higher voltages while some are better at lower ones.

That being said, I love my ProVari.

There are cheaper alternatives if you just want to try out a variable volt unit... Box Mods

The Prodigy is a nice looking unit but I'm just not crazy about that bottom button. How would you set your mod down? On its side so it can roll away?

I hope the right people look at your question. I know zip on those. Your title looks similar to someone looking for their first ecig.

How many volts are those? And why are you jumping to those instead of trying a fat battery 510 (Ego or Riva etc) which would let you use low resistance 510 attys and cartos and get more heat without the extra voltage?

Just a suggestion -

The Riva lite bundle at Liberty-flights is an amazing deal for trying LR 510 stuff (under $30 w/ the discount). If you go to Liberty Flights w/ Internet Explorer you can click the upper left for 20% off. (if you cannot see that then go to google, search for Liberty-Flights.com and one of the links listed should be to the 20% off). Then go to Riva 510 and look at the Riva lite bundle. Under $30 for 2 batteries and 2 LR attys plus carts and the Riva charger. And I ordered some LR Boge cartos at LiteCigUSA.net (since LF was out of them). I bought it because I have been dropping my nicotine and I would like to even try 0-nic sometimes but I need more heat in the drag.

Need to keep the LR stuff off your slim 510 since that stuff can kill slim 510 batteries (I need to mark everything somehow). Ditto for the charger - use the Riva fast charger only for Riva and not slim 510's.

You could go with the high voltage stuff but if you do, you might want to consider Provari or a variable voltage box mod (there should be some cheap box mods around). With variable, you could go high when you have an atty or carto that can take it but have the option of lower for attys that pop easily or juices that don't need the heat.

Because you're looking at pv's like the provari, I strongly suggest a bottom feeder box mod like the Reo.
Holds an all day supply of juice, hits at low (3.7) or high (6.0) volts and has minimal maintenance compared to anything else.

Dripping and refilling carts gets old really fast.

Also, nice boxes hold their value. You will be able to sell it for what you paid for it.

emm Excuse my ignorance but what is GoGo...?

It's a PV that has picked up a very devoted following. One way to describe is to call it a big ol' carto on a big ol' battery. I haven't used one but, it's reputed to work very consistently with no hassle and the carto holds around 3ml of juice. It's pretty new and AFAIK the only thing you can use on it is that big carto. I've read that they are working on a 901 adapter but, I don't think it's ready yet. So, you can't drip or sample anything. If you know what juice you like and you want to vape it with no hassle, it might be for you. Just remember that once you fill up that carto with something, you're pretty much stick with it. So, make sure you like it.
