Hello all,
Im looking into mod Box's. As of right now I have a sir lancel lot mechanical mod with tugboat v2. I using 26g kanthal 6 wraps. This does put out some big clouds. Not sure on ohms. I thinks my ohm checker is broken when I test the numbers jump all over the place. Seems to stay between 2.0. Not sure though.

Anyways im looking I to a box mod. Im looking for one that will produce big clouds as I get with my set up now.
I did see some box mods that have 150 watts.
As far as clouds chasing what would be a good mod box watts for clouds?
What is the purpose of such high watts IE: 150 watts vs 100 watts vs 50 watts?

I saw the cloupor t8 150 watts looks nice, great reviews. And a nice price tag as well.

Sorry if my post lacks more info or trouble understanding.
Simply I just want a mod box that will produce nice clouds.

Thanks,
Srh70634-

Clouds don't solely depend on the battery box/tube. Higher watts will offer the ablity to produce more heat. More heat distributed over a larger surface area will vaporize more e-liquid. Higher VG will produce a fuller vapor thanPG liquids. Coil build accounts for vapor production, as well.

To answer your question directly, the best box mod is the one that suits your personal preference. There are numerous choices. There are regulated and unregulated boxes.

Be safe with your builds on an unregulated or build within specifications of the circuit you choose.

Personally, I have 65w devices and I prefer to vape below 35w. I use a single twisted 26ga @ .8ohm on a Derringer. It suits me fine. It may not be enough fo you. It may be more than you want. It's up to you. Good luck! Read reviews. Shop around. When you find what's best for you, you will have answered your own question.

I think you should check out these blogs and read some information about ohms law and batteries before moving on a device.

You might find the information helpful in understanding higher powered vaping.

The T8 is very nice device, I was between that and the Sigelei 150. Both need proper builds to work well though. You should definitely get a new ohm meter, it's not very safe to build without one. 26 gauge with 6 wraps on any suitable coil diameter will not read 2.0ohms.

Look at this too. Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

I suggest getting a MOD that has MORE "watts" than what you'll need. It's murphy's law = you won't have it, when you need it. So give yourself some head room. I have a Sigelei 100W and rarely go above 70 watts! I also have a 50W Sigelei, that my woman uses mostly now, and vape that around 40 - 45W or 18 (with my Kanger Subtank). I almost bought a 30W, but settled on the 50W and so, So glad I did.
