Need help please

So I have a kayfun 3.1 and I use it either on my provari mini at home at work I slap it on my vaporshark rdna 30 I have been using 28g kanthal cotton wick at 1.5 ohms seems to work ok at around 11 watts I can't seem to go much higher as it bothers my chest I smoked for almost 40 years I feel like I should be getting a better flavor I've used all types of ejuice and all Vg/pg ratios
Is there a better ohm coil and wattage I could try for the provari and vaporshark

what about coil CONFIGURATION

5,6,7, wraps close, touching

mandrel size 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm ??

wad cotton, cotton yarn, Japanese, rayon, maybe you might like silica better (it's cheap)

sure is about endless combinations

I settled at 31ga / 5wraps around 2mm / stuffed with yarn / 8w

and I do it again & again & again - cheap consistent happy

Rayon wick will give you more flavor, you're pretty much on par with your build and power levels, now go for small changes after each tank.

add wraps to the coil. or go to heavier wire. to add surface area to your coil. More surface area allows you to vape more juice with less heat.

Just got into building, but I was turned on to tension wrapped micro coil building.
It works good for me 8w-20w in my eGrip w/ RBA.
28ga Kanthal A1 on a 2mm rod for 1.5 Ohms (now running 8 wraps on 2.4mm rod for 1.5 Ohms) Don't forget to add the legs length into the Ohms calculator.
