Need Help VV MOD vs. MECHANICAL?

Buying a new mod need some help and direction i want to also buy a RBT too, what are the pro and cons of VV vs Mechanical?

It depends on your device but if you like low resistance and are planning on buying rebuildables, a mechanical is great because you can literally build a .3 ohm coil and vape like a champ. That would be somewhat sketchy on a vv device. If you plan on building regular resistance coils or 1.3 ish and above a vv is great. It depends what you like to vape.

I go to my VV/VW more than a mechanical. My mechanical runs sub ohm coils only and it is mostly for fun and just to see how well something works. Like building a dual coil aga-t2 on it.

I'm sure you were asking him more....but I have the sigelei zmax telescope (wife uses it more), smok SiD, and the iseason.

e: regarding your question of what I'd recommend - I like the zmax and sids and the similar ones (menu and screen wise)

I agree with this. Especially the last line. I even still use my KGO batteries.

the other thing you could do is buy a mechanical w/ a few batts and then buy a kick. the form factor ever after it is kicked is still smaller than most vv/vw devices out there.. then on top of that, you can remove kick for sub ohm vaping

with options like the SiD being in the same price range as the kick or even cheaper, it's hard for me to back this suggestion. I'd rather see somebody have one of each and enjoy 15 watts/6 volts of vaping power than 10 watts. my SiD is usually at 13 watts - unless I have the protank on it.

I had the same dilemma a few weeks ago, just before ordering a Vamo v2.
Then only yesterday made a payment on a Mech Mod to have some fun with along with some RBT's.
So IMO, get BOTH! and on

I like my vv because i can check voltage out accurately and resistance in rebuilding without taking out my multi meter and stuff.
plus i think i get more consistency for both my vaping experience and for the batteries as well..i mostly vape 3.7v...

the only thing i hate and scare about it is if i bump or drop it...will it go crazy on me?
dont wanna know the answer..

i love my mech cause it double as a protection weapon for me...
vapes like a champ on sub ohms and like it when batts are fully charged,,,
hate eem..when power is getting low...
plus it doesnt look weird with a meter blinking when i vape....

If you're using store bought hardware ie carto's and atties then for sure vv. If you want to build your own hordware then mechanical is a must have. It all depends on how far along you are in your vaping experience.

Jerry's comments is why I had decided to venture out and try a mech mod. The 3 VV PVs and 1 VV/VW PV, which I have, have and will continue to serve me well. However, I felt that I was missing something with my RBAs and RDAs and limited.

I love my sigelei #8 mechanical. I had ego-c's, then got an eVic. Sold both and keep out the mech. It's smaller, does more, durable, honestly takes a little tweaking every now and then, but works great! Whatever you get, get it for yourself! Hell for that matter, get both, try them out, and you can always sell the one you don't want somewhere! Good luck, I know there's a lot to absorb, it really helps if you can find a local group to talk to face to face, I found mine on Facebook. Just search your city and voila! My group has been indispensable!

Kinda funny but I'm just as apt to stick an old atty or carto on a mechanical as I am one of my VV or VW PV's. They are just different, I really don't look at one as being better than the other.

These days it seems like my Provari (VV) and my Reo (mechanical) are getting the most use. BUT,(also kinda funny) right now my Provari has a RBA on it, and my Reo has a carto on it. ........... so go figure ..............
