hard to see....but...

is the li-po a single cell (kinda looks like a multi-cell pack)? battery voltage? fully charged? did the board come with any diagrams/spec sheet?

did you change the fire button?

alot more info needed to help ya out.....a diagram would be most helpful...did the board come with operating instructions (button presses, error messages (flashes), etc.

in looking at the picture on madvapes web site:

I see one red wire......I assume this is the power in (+)

I see 2 black wires....connected to the same solder point on the board...I assume this is the (-) connection from the battery and the negative connection to the atty connector...

I see two small black wires coming from the board connected to a off-board tactile switch.....

What I do not see is a wire coming from the board that should connect to the atty (+) center pin.....

Are my assumptions correct as to what I see on madavpes site?

EDIT: from your poor picture it almost looks like you have soldered a white wire on the board to go to the atty (+) pin....but the picture is not clear enough for me to tell for sure...sorry...

tnx the comeback.
the cell is halv a 7.4 lipo I did not do any additional charging but it seems to be plenty charged I ll try to top it up.
so this cell is 3.7 or so .the board has no instructions ...has two longer wires blk and red which go to the battery used a pt fuse in pos.
the short wires go to the 510 conector blk =negative ..white =+
the fire botton is the same as supplyd I just made a fiberglas small cover to glue on and hold the switch in place ...did not want to glue the switch it selv in case I want to reuse it. on the fire botton I had to resolder one lead which came loose from handling .
I connect the negative leads to complete the circuit then it flashes three times and that it....unsoldered atty +same thing ..pressing fire botton or not is also no difference
instructions and error messages would may be helpful but madvapes don't supply any
tnx the help ...rolf

so when you have the battery +, battery -, and switch connected only....you get the 3 flashes even when you do not press the switch?

I'm wondering if 3 flashes means a shorted atty?.... could the atty black wire and atty white wire solder points (at the board) be touching? just a guess...

also ya might unhook one wire from the switch to see if that clears the flashing....tactile switches can short from the heat of soldering.....

DISREGUARD>>>> see posts below.....

I'm assuming that is an in-line fuse....

found this for ya...may help,,,

VV Gripper Tips:
•Insert the battery + end first, the screen will blink 3 times to indicate that a connection has been made.
•Click button # 3(the button below the '- and +' buttons) very quickly 5 times to turn the unit on of off.
•Hit + or - to adjust the voltage.
•When the unit is on, click button # 3 (the button below the '- and +' buttons) once to show the ohms and voltage.

Moral of story.....instructions from Madvapes would have saved ya some grief......LOL

here is a video.....
