Hi,
I have bad luck lately with hardware.
After what seemed like months of solid work, my Ego C twist, Vision Spinner, Aerotank 2 and 3TS all died within two months of each other. I must be doing something wrong. I bought the MVP 2 starter kit when my last battery died. I used the MVP 2 with my Aerotank, which was still working at the time. After a few weeks the aerotank just up and died. I tried it with the MVP and a newish Ego C twist. It would not fire with both batteries. I tried a new coil and I cleaned it well but it wouldn't draw.

I ordered a mini protank recently and that worked with the MVP, Ego C and EVOD for about two weeks. Now the protank is gurgling and leaking. What can be the problem and can someone recommend a setup that is simple and low maintenance?
Thanks

Wow, it seems like you have had some crazy bad luck.
My first question would be this...Are you sure you are getting AUTHENTIC hardware? Some of the brands you mentioned are known for high quality stuff. My eVod that I bought over a year ago is still going strong, and I passed them on to my gf to help her kick the habit. I "graduated" to the subox.
As far as a recommended low maintenance setup, if you're into the pens, the eVod was good to me, and so was the Vision spinner...but you tried them already.
You sure everything was authentic? Knock offs are known to have longevity issues.

The MVP 2 is only good up to 11 watts power. The Nautilus Mini/full size will not reach it's full potential on the MVP2, I vape mine at 12 to 15 watts. A Subtank will probably not get warm on the MVP 2. I'd suggest investing in an iStick 30W and the Nautilus Mini, save what you have left out of your gear for backups. I have problems with my Aerotank sometimes, it doesn't make a connection with the battery. This happens on my MVP2, SVD and Evod batteries. If I unscrew it, wipe down the center pin on the battery and make sure the spring is working, then screw it back on, it usually works. Sometimes I have to unscrew the Aerotank just a little bit from the battery and then it makes a connection.

On the protanks - are you changing your coils? Sometimes I change protank coils every few days. They don't last too long. Try rinsing in hot water or soaking in grain alcohol to clean them and extend their life. If the protank leaks, check that all the tiny rubber o-rings are properly seated on all the parts before screwing it together. If it gurgles, change the coil, clean out the center tube and your drip tip of any extra juice. Try changing your draw to a stronger or lighter pull. Try upping your watts.

The Nautilus Mini is a good tank, but it gurgles too much on me. I'm having better luck now with the GS Air MS tank. I also agree you should get a battery that goes over 11 watts. I have an MPV 30 and I like it. The GS Air is a no-nonsense tank that works well and costs $10.

Wow - I did not expect so much help. Thanks!
I am pretty sure that most of the hardware I have is legit. Most of it has been bought at reputable dealers online or local. The spinner died because I dropped it. The 1st Ego battery died.
I checked the rubber boot on the MVP and put in a rubber gasket from an old coil. The MVP seems to work okay with the mini protank but I am annoyed that the mini is starting to gurgle and leak after two weeks. I bought the mini from a well known dealer in the Pacific NW.
I am changing coils every two or three weeks, especially if I detect a burnt taste from a good liquid. I have been babying the mini protank. I just changed the coil last week. I just cleaned the mini last night. I will let it get nice and dry before giving it another go.

Maybe I got some bad coils. Maybe I am drawing too hard.
Is it bad to top off a tank with a different liquid? Does that mess up the works?
