I have been a smoker for 15 yrs, I smoke Marlboro Menthol Ultra Lights, a pack a day....i want to make a full switch over to e-cigs. I have tried a few of the menthol disposables and hate them, they taste minty, like a piece of spearamint gum and they seem to burn my throat. I havent bought an actual kit yet, I have been researching them and was hoping I could find someone with similar smoking habits/tastes as me that has found a good menthol e-cig that tastes more menthol like and not minty. I would hate to buy a kit and end up hating the one I ordered and have money wasted. Can anyone give me sum insight? Thanks so much!:)

A very smooth menthol juice is BWB menthol.

I was a newport smoker and like nhalers nuport but that is a little minty.

Sometimes instead of trying to duplicate your cig (which is completely impossible) try something different.

My dream when I started was to find something I could tolerate that would keep me from smoking. I got lucky with the first juice I bought (nuport) but you might have to try several juices to see what works for you. Taste is so subjective. You are going to waste money on juice. I can almost guarantee you that. But once you find one (or two you like) that's all it takes.

I bought the Riva 1100 kit... reasonable price, I like the product and nice customer service.... you can buy menthol liquid from a few different companies and see what you like... the menthol I tried from www.EastMall.net Eastmall International Co.,Ltd had a strong menthol taste. It didn't have a mint taste... but it didn't taste like a menthol analog either.

BackwoodsBrew Menthol and FreedomSmokeUSA PureCig Menthol come to mind right away.
I smoked Kool's for 40 years but I've tried many more. I liked Artic Ice from VaporBomb too.
You really just have to try them yourself cuz taste is way to subjective and what 1 person loves the next person pukes.
Get samples from as many as you can and see what you decide.
Good luck.:thumb:

I myself was a heavy menthol smoker. 1 to 1 1/2 packs a day of marlboro menthols. I got myself a Riva 510 and a 30ml bottle of "Double Mint" VG juice from E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings and I was blown away by how much it helped my craving for analog cigs. Up until that point I was vaping fruity flavors like blueberry, banana cream, dutch apple pie and such and I would still be smoking analog cigs throughout the day as well. As soon as I got my "Double Mint" I haven't touched a single analog cig and its been almost a week now. I'd say give it a try. Get a 5ml bottle just to test it out, but for me, it's perfect. Exactly what I needed to help kick the analogs for good.

I've tried tons of menthols myself and most are too strong on the menthol so I usually mix a strong menthol with a tobacco flavor, but I do like Nhaler's 555/Menthol.

I actually have a bottle of that I got when I first started vaping. I might try it again. Thanks for the reminder!

Hi! I was a hardcore menthol smoker myself (B&H and then Carlton's)...When I switched to e-cigs, the menthol flavors burnt my mouth, and I just haven't really liked most of the minty flavors I've tried.
What ended up tasting better to me was coffee flavors initially..I started with Keoke Coffee from the Vapor Room actually.
Now, I enjoy lots of different flavors, and especially a smooth menthol-clove from Gourmet Vapors.

So - in my own experience - giving up on menthol, and finding something else worked. I was able to quit analogs right away.

Best of luck to you!

wow guys, thanks. Thing is, all ive ever tried are the disposables at gas stations so i have NO clue when it comes to kits and makers. This whole juice thing is new to me too. So what do i do? Buy a kit from some place online, and then buy juices for it? If I got a menthol kit it prolly wouldnt taste good to get juices on top of that would it? Would I want to get a regular e-cig kit and buy juices for it then? I'm still so lost. I dont have a lot of money to be able to try a million different things off the bat hence why I was hopin i could narrow it all down this way. Thank u all for tryin to help me out here.

I just posted a recommendation for someone in this thread

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/168528-best-menthol-e-cig.html#post2806607

That's pretty much what I started out with and it cost me about $70 to get started I guess. LF is a good place to buy from because they have a 6 month warranty on batteries and 45 days on attys. Other places have great warranties as well but I just know this one off the top of my head.

If you like it, you can always purchase the tank. Or you can start with the tank. I just posted with what I started out with and it worked well for me.

Good luck!
