Need help with Kayfun 3.1 clone coil build

Hi guys, I just got my kayfun 3.1 clone and I'm having trouble getting the coils to stay on the post. I've looked through a lot of videos on youtube and everyone seems to wrap the legs around the screws and for some reason mine wont stay. No matter how I screw it down it keeps spitting the legs out... Is it because I have faulty screws? the ones that came with my kayfun seems to be "bulby" and not flat to where it will hold the legs down. Also I havent seen anyone feed the legs through the holes at the bottom of those pins. If anyone has a nice setup feeding the legs through the holes please post some pictures. If all else fails should I just buy better replacement screw?... Any help would be appreciated! thanks!

I just got my kayfun 3.1 clone last week and haven't had any trouble with the wire being spit out but if I did, since mine doesn't have the holes to put the wire through, I'd wrap the wire one full turn around the screw very tight before screwing them down. I have done this on my Phoenix clone when I didn't want to use the holes and it worked fine.

Hope all goes well as the kayfun, at least in my experience, is a delightful vape.

Hey man,

Yeah I ran into this problem with my Kayfun Lite+ Black Edition. For some reason the screws seem to be 'rounded' at the bottoms so it constantly spits out the wire....You really just have to fight with it till you get it....Make sure you're wrapping the wire CLOCKWISE around the screw before you sock it down, that might help..

Thanks for the replies guys. I did figure it out but it was still very loose. I went to a nut and bolt shop in my area and got some similar screws with flatter heads and they now hold down without any problems!

If you guys would like to post some pics of your kayfun build that would be awesome. I've been doing micro coils with triple twisted 32 awg kanthal and it hits very hard. Was wondering if any of you guys have any builds that would produce more plooms of vapor and would be willing to share your builds that would be awesome!
