batteries charged ?? ( use a voltmeter if you have one , they should read 4.2 volts each )
charged but not fully. I don't have a voltmeter

Take off the atty /carto first
done

Do you have a RED LED light ?
yes

DO you have a Blue Led light when the button is pushed.
yes

DO you have a Blue led with the ATTY/CARTO ON the unit ?
no - it is red

Do you have BOTH red and Blue led lights ?
yes (when I push the button) but only when there is no carto on the unit. put carto on the unit there is only red. push button with carto on it is only red.

Do you get a blue led with the atty/carto ON but no vapor ?

Generally low batteries are indicated by a huge drop in vapor production, and if you look you will see both red and blue lights on when you press the fire button.

good to know. do you know why (as stated above) only the red LED would come on when I put a carto on? something loose or low batteries?

Red when nothing is pressed just tells you that you have power, batteries are in correctly.

What happens when you push the fire button is the key. If only the red light is on, probably short circuit protection is kicking in; if you are running a low resistance dual coil, try turning the voltage down ( towards the green) and see if it starts to work.

Both lights, red and blue, means low power, time to switch batteries. The vape quality drops off tremendously.

Just the blue light means it is happy, thinks it is applying power okay. Either it really is good, else you have an open circuit, no connection. (in an open circuit, no current is drawn)
