I'm hoping someone on here can help me. I have a new MAP tank, I LOVE the thing....but I can't get it to stop leaking no matter what I do. It's not leaking at the connection or the delrin caps....it's leaking on the inside where you put the rubber gasket on the top of the CE2. I have tried using a rubber peice from a Different ce2, pushing it in further...everything. It leaks through the filler holes, and around the edge of the rubber peice. I don't know if the delrin tip is just a smudge to large or what. I LOVE this thing...if only I can stop it from leaking. I have $1 a Mil. juice and don't wanna keep losing it. WheN I take the drip tip off there's always a big puddle forming on the top of the little rubber peice. Man, this stinks because I really love this thing. Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

Just my guess that the carto isnt pushed up enough into the tank making the rubber silicon cap not high enough to make a seal.

You can try and push up the carto itself from the battery end. It wont be too easy to do and doesnt need to be pushed in too much. That is what makes the seal good and the leaking should stop. it did on mine.

you want the white or clear silicon cap right up to the top delrin black cap. that is what makes the seal.

good luck.

I have it about half way through the black delrin top and I still keep having the liquid coming through the holes and a little bit around the edge. I know your suggestion is right because other's have said the same....it's just not working on this for some reason. I don't know if it's a defect or what

Just my 2 cents;

First - Neither the drip tip, nor the stem holding the drip tip should be in contact with the silicone cap.

Second - Enlarge the notches in the silicone cap and fluff the wick so that it fills the notch when cap
is seated on the ceramic cup. Main reason for enlarging notches is so that cap can press fully down
onto cup without compressing wicks.

Third - Fully assemble tank first ( top & bottom delrin plugs and lexan tube ), then press carto in
through bottom plug. When silicone cap goes into hole of top delrin plug, push it in just far enough
to barely touch wicks without compressing them. When properly assembled you should be able to see
less than half of the silicone cap from inside and the wicks should fill the notches.

Not sure what would allow juice to seep through the 2 filler holes in cap. If you use a syringe to fill
and it is too big, maybe this is stretching the holes and leaving them bigger than they were designed to be.
Combine this with thin juice and it will leak no matter what.

Lastly, and this is just my opinion, you shouldn't leave a tank on its side or tilted far enough to leave one
of the notches fully submerged in juice. The tank will leak if left on it's side for more than a moment.

Hope this helps.
