she says it burns her throat and is harsh is she hitting it wrong?

How would anyone on a message board know what she's doing or how she's doing it? First thing I would do is find out if she's drawing on it like a hit or smoking it like she does a cigarette. Find out her technique and go from there

If it were me, I'd get her a 50/50 double shot blend in a flavor I know she adores, then sit right next to her and vape it. :D

Truthfully, she may just not be ready and until a smoker is, cigarettes talk louder than common sense. You'll get farther by tempting her than pushing her. Let her see how much better you feel and how much extra money you have for other things. Hopefully she'll come around eventually.

Until then, put some of that extra money towards a couple of bottles of Febreze.

"accidental quitter" - Think most of us here may be that - one drag leads to two that leads to converted..Don't really know why I converted, still don't smell/taste much with the e-cig. Maybe it is not seeing all the ash and butts in the ashtray...

I think for me it was how bad analogs started to taste and smell. I about choked on my last analog and that was the end of it.

OK
Perhaps this was mentioned, not sure, but it appears that you are either using a cart or drip. If so, I would strongly consider getting cartomizers. The atty/cart combo is a bit stronger/harsher and after those few good puffs it can get very harsh in a hurry as it gets dry...

The only other option is perhaps a model with a bit smoother hit, like a 4081. Love the taste of my 4081 a lot... but would be difficult to use as main vape for a heavy smoker...

That's a good idea TB, Op should pick up one of those $20 xhales at 7-11, they even look like a cigarette - maybe she'll bite.

Rege,
Man do I ever know what your talking about. Here are my 2 cents worth.
When I started vapeing my wife was on vacation with her parents and I had used up all my off time and couldn't go with them. While she was gone for 2 weeks I had switched completely. I washed (and hid) all of the ashtrays too. We both smoked in the house but for 2 weeks there had been no smoke in there and the weather was nice so I had the A/C off and windows open to air out the smoke smell. When she got home and started smoking again,,, wow. Until then I had never understood when a non-smoker would complain about the smell. But not wanting to sound like one of those damn anti-smokers, I didn't say anything. It took a couple months but she did come around and we never want to go back. What worked for her was an orange flavor mixed with a light tobacco. and the price too. A higher than analog nic mix and thinking that it was no more than changing brands. All because of money we had changed brands when the one we liked went up to high in price to something that didn't taste as good but after 2 cartons the new brand was OK. It's the same with vapeing. And I wonder, Did analogs burn your wife's throat the first time she took a drag from someone else's. Probably yes, and she got use to them anyway.
