need help!

hello everyone....

i need help on my rba...well actually i just have a question...im on a business trip and i left my vv (sigelei zmax) at home...i use it to measure the resistance of my rba's...now, unfortunately my coil popped,i don't know why.(but it lasted 3 wks so i think its ok)...lucky enough i have extra mesh and coil in my bag(the ones where i keep my mod) but no extra rba (great)...now here's the thing...is it ok to build my rsst without any means to measure the resistance?i have my nzonic with me right now and an ego twist (yup i still carry my ego's everywhere)...and i need to vape....

Should be fine as long as you don't make the coil too low resistance.

I always suggest checking the resistance but if you are comfortable enough in your ability you should be okay. I know I havent always measured.

you could build yourself a new coil and wander into a radio shack or somewhere else that sells multi meters and ask to look at one. just turn it to the 200 ohm setting it it's not a full autoranging meter. touche the leads to the ends of the coil and it will give you a close enough reading to know it it's about what you wanted.

eGos do have short protection, which has worked for me before (as in I have actually shorted an eGo with a bad remade coil and it stopped firing as expected and still works), so I'd say go for it! Besides, in an RSST something catastrophic like a short would be pretty easy to identify.
