TL;DR
I have been a long time vaper, mostly with my Vamo v2 with an AGA t2 and an assortment of various other atty's like the protank, vivi nova's and evods etc. For the last 6 months or so I have mostly been using the AGA t2 with various SS mesh and kanthal gauges. I love the flavor I get from SS mesh on a genesis style atty, and I believe that I have become experienced enough with them through the AGA t2 to finally move to a mech mod + genny for some real fun. For reference I have been an avid reader of ECF for about a year now, and have built my AGA t2 just about every way you can think of on top of a VV/VW(no sub ohm builds yet).

I have an Hcigar Nemesis clone on the way, as well as an RSST and a Tobeco Kraken Clone. I know many out there don't like clones however my financial situation does not allow me to drop $300 on a real Nemesis and Kraken.

I currently have Panasonic CGR18650CH Li batteries. I have been using them for several months though and honestly it is probably time for some new batteries both for the Vamo and the mech mod that is OTW. From what I have read most people seem to be recommending AW IMR 18650 1600mAh batteries for sub ohm genny builds which I what I plan to do once the Nemesis arrives. I am afraid of getting ripped off on fake AW batteries though could anyone advise on where to purchase? Would be a plus if that shop also sold SS mesh / Kanthal as I would like to order some 28g kanthal as well.

TL;DR

Questions: What batteries do you recommend for a sub ohm genny build, and where can I get them?

Would a vapesafe fuse work in a sub ohm build? Is it necessary? What do you think about this or any other fuse available?

Thank you guys in advance,

Just gonna throw some in with my order from KP to give it a try. Man they really have everything, even extra tanks for aga t2. Thanks for showing me that site. Can't wait to have two gennies to build on.

I don't like the taste of underwicked mesh and rope seems to wick faster and better. If a local vape shop can build that for you to try, give it a shot and compare for yourself.
