I ha\/e a kit that was mailed out to me today I should get it in a few days that comes w/ the 2 eGo Bats and 2 atomizers, But I just noticed it says 1 Atomizer is LR (low resistance) and one is SR (standard resistance). So I googled to see what this all meant and all I could find was that (this is from my readings) LR atomizers.... die quick? Can someone explain to me what the real deal is between SR and LR. Also how one would go about using them differently if necessary. Thanks

Hi Jay, the LR atties simulate High Voltage vaping. They have a better TH, vapor and the flavors seem to be better. If this is your first kit, I'd suggest getting started with the Regular attie first.

The reason is the LR atties CAN die faster, if they're not CARED for properly. That means knowing when they're starting to dry out a BIT by taste of the vapor, etc. So, get your practice in with the regulars and when you can tell by the subtle changes what's going on with your atty, break out the LR!!

And, make sure you order at LEAST a few more 'spares'!

Good luck!!

Damn I wish I would ha\/e ordered more now lol, Cause I would like to ha\/e atleast 2 regulars at a time if breakage may be an issue w/ the LR. But back to the subject, besides the color (because the website states, (Black Atomizer = Standard Resistance, Stainless Steel Atomizer = Low Resistance) is there another way to tell which is which do they look different?

The only way to tell is with a voltmeter.

Often, they are marked LR if they are low resistance. If not, I put a little mark on them. They can last as long as a regular. They all (LR or STD) die of over use/abuse. I keep 9 PV units (with atomizers) and 14 cartomizers (different flavors) in rotation.

By in rotation do you mean like you'll use 1 atomizer one day then the next start a different one until you get back to the orig? That's interesting, Don't know if I can handle that lol. But I guess 2 might not be enough because it's easily possible that they break within the same few days of each other. If I ha\/e only 2 and they break within the same time i'm going to be screwed waiting for the mail to come... I'll ha\/e to take this into consideration.

Ah,...Not quite. I Use all 9 of my PVs and a pass thru (w/cartomizers) and a few of the cartomizers daily (hourly?).

I have 4-mega 510s (2 using cartomizers, 2 using mega atties), a DSE905V4 (510 mega atty), an Indulgence (510 mega atty), Hellotech 016 (cone-amizer), Tornado (mega atty) and a Box mod (LR 510 atty). Of course I can interchange the atties for cartomizers. I try to dedicate one flavor for each atty or cartomizer. They last for months this way. YMMV. Re-filling is a chore and I have some drip tips for dripping if I feel lazy.

But yes, 2 units is taking a chance.
