One thing I would check is the tank you have on top of it. My wife uses the areotank v2 and will get poor performance when the coil is going out. She replaces her coil anywhere from 3-5weeks depending on flavors she is using. Another thing that I noticed is occasionally there will be some juice build up below the coil head on the airflow base and that will also give her some terrible hits.

If you purchased from a reputable vendor itaste typically has a 90 day warranty and they put out some awesome gear as well imho. I always have my mvp2 in my back pack, its the perfect back up device for my vaping needs.

It's ntot he tank for sure... I used my girlfriends el cheapo battery she's had for years to test it and ..... It took a perfect hit... So not sure what the heck the problem is but it's really lame and the local shop I bought it from won't take it back I already tried.... Seems the shop is a rip off won't give them any more of my business... Good thing there's competition where I live ..

Ya wow 2 months that's bad but it does happen, I wen't through 2 and had enough of that, no shop is going to take a spinner battery back after 2 months, so here are your choices.
Upgrade to :Eleaf iStick 30W Battery - Eciggity
With this one you would not bound to buy a new unit when the internal battery dies : iPV Mini 30 Watt Mod - Eciggity

What does it show for resistance on your topper? Is it a steady reading, or does it change?

Sounds like you may have squashed the center pin down a bit, and are getting a bad connection. (IIRC, the 30 has a floating center pin to prevent that from happening...)

If that's the case, the quick fix is to wiggle the post up a hair. Turn it off. Then using a small screwdriver rock around the circumference of the pin, gently. 1 mm lift is probably all you need.

And yes, after a couple months, I'm not surprised they won't take it back. I'm a little surprised, though, they didn't try the pin lift to help you out.

Here's a video on the center pin fix David was talking about. Just make sure that if you use something conductive (metal) to pry up on the center pin that you do NOT hit the fire button while you are working on the battery. Or better yet, turn off the battery.
