Ok, so in an effort to not get trolled, I'm posting this here, and keeping it as related to what works best with NT liquids only. :rules:

My first APV was/is a VAMO V2 w/ ProTank2 . I bought 2 nautilus's within days of the vamo, and went BVC as fast as I could. I absolutely LOVE the nautilus, and plan on continuing to use them for the foreseeable future. Not saying I won't drip, but I'm really focused on something convenient for the time being as I'm on the go quite regularly. Budget = as little as possible, not looking for my final vape purchase or I'd get a REO as I really want one when I do the next upgrade after this.

All this being said, I bought a V5, defective, so I sent it back... Then read thats very common right now, so that's not in consideration. I had my heart set on an MVP 2, but really having trouble digesting the 11watt limit, as I have a few of the NT juices that I like cranking up to 13-15 watts.

Wondering about the VTR... Still does 15 watts, heavy duty build, seems like it would be absolutely perfect for carrying my NT juices around on the go. Especially with the way the tank mounts on the side, instead of out the top like the mvp2. Drawback is I can only use the nautilus mini, which although I like alternating through all the delicious juice NT makes, 2 ml isn't much.... Not really loving that aspect...

I guess what I'm wondering, for portable, long battery life, 15 watt devices, under $100 (I know I'm going to hear about provari's and reo's, and acknowledge how great they are, but not this purchase) what do you think is best? Would you recommend a VTR, MVP2, or something else in that size/style/price?

Also, is the "hit" comparable between the Vamo V2, MVP2, VTR or does one actually vape our favorite liquid better than the others?

I have both the Vamo V2 and the MVP2. I would say they vape similarly. The battery life is much better on the MVP2. I only charge mine about every other day. It's great for being away from the house all day. The MVP2 also feels lighter in my hand. I still use my Vamo, but it never leaves the house. It's too heavy for my purse. I don't have a Provari or a Reo. If the feds really start cracking down, I figure I will get a Provari. That way I can use my current tanks on it without having to get into rebuildables. I don't know if this was helpful or not. Good luck with your decision.

If I were you I'd jump straight to a DNA30 of some sort. I'm currently using a Cloupor DNA and absolutely love it! You can get one for under $100, and it will leave your options open as far as vape style. 7-30watts, and capable of I think down to .2 ohms, if ever you decide you want to go that direction. Personally I only drip, and rarely build below 1.0 ohms. The great thing about that is a 30 watt device delivers the power to fire any ohm coil at satisfactory performance. You really can't go wrong IMO.

MVP2 is a great travel vape. Durable, USB chargeable, phone charger, and it works great. For me the VTR comes up short in the features department. Clunky battery charger at work no thank you. Right now my favorite car vape is a Spinner 2 and Kanger MOW though, I use them for my higher nic tobaccos. Cloupor has a few things that might appeal to you or maybe the IPV V2.

If it were my choice( between what you have listed), I'd go with the Evic. Never owned an MVP or Vamo. Have two Evics ( upgraded V1's) and a VTR( my garage/ shop device) in my stable that I still occasionally use. All have been solid units for me.

Looked at the Clouper when I wanted to give a DNA device a try. Read too many bad things happening to them amongst the good reviews as well and ultimately decided to go with the Hana.

The Evic won't sub ohm but it fires most atty's very well and has a host of features and settings that are a lot of fun to play with. When linked to a PC, it can be programed and set up to your preference as well as track your vaping habits for you to study and you can even set your avi up on the home screen ......;) An Kayfun topped Evic works and works very well.

Best of luck with your decision Mike, in which ever way you decide to go. :)

I went from an itaste to a vapor shark DNA30, it's a little over your price limit and the battery life is terrible for all day vaping...but it is teeny (kayfun lite hangs over a smidge) and has pass through charging. I loved having the option to range from 7w to 30w depending on topper/build and the juice.

If you're already enjoy tanks at the 15watt range and are considering dripping....my 2cents is that you consider one of the DNA30s and do your research from there. Like JoeCarrol said, you can find them under $100 now.

NT liquids tend to love the heat, and sounds like you do too.
Happy shopping! :)

Pulled the trigger.

ZNA 30 Clone. Now to stalk the mailman for a few days.

Sounds like a good call Mike :) hope it finds you well!

If the FDA cracks down you don't want a Provari for the purpose you describe - you want a mech. Something without electronics. Electronics will go bad eventually the mech will march until the FDA bites the dust :)

I was thinking about that yesterday while I was watching PBusardo's ReoGrand review. He did the repair kit install on the video and I was like man... In the even of Vape apocalypse I'm pretty sure I could find pieces to rebuild it with at any local hardware store. As long as the chassis of the REO holds fast, the pieces that make it up could be easy to find/mod. That is also pretty darn cool IMO.
