I tried several samples at 60/40 PG/VG with double flavor at 6mg nic from Gourmet Vapor. I went with this ratio because I was having trouble with too much throat hit with the juices I had (80/20 PG/VG at 18 mg nic) and I doubled the flavor because I heard higher VG mutes flavors. It's hard for me to review the juices because it seems like I feel differently about them on different days, but I'll give it a shot for you. They all have tons of vapor, probably because of the higher PG content.

Hint of Strawberry Cheesecake: is my favorite of the bunch and probably the only one that I personally like enough to reorder. I used up the whole bottle. I think it's true to expectations. I taste the cheesecake, particularly on the exhale, and the strawberry isn't too weak or too strong. The strawberry might be a little "fake" tasting, but no more than the strawberry sauce on a real piece of strawberry cheesecake. I like it better in a higher resistance carto (vs. regular or low resistance), which makes the vapor cooler.

Sweet Spot Coffee: I drink coffee with tons of french vanilla creamer & a little sugar so I thought this might be close to that. It's not. There might be a little vanilla & sweetener but it mostly just tastes like coffee, strong and somewhat burnt or stale. Aside from the flavor, I have a lot of problems with this one in every carto I try it in. Won't work at all in a high resistance carto (seems to need higher heat to vaporize) and when a regular carto finally gets hot enough to vaporize the liquid, it seems to increase the burnt taste too. I tried mixing some of the Vanilla Gorilla in it to see if that improved anything since I suspect part of the problem might be due to the really dark color of the liquid and it does help with that issue but it doesn't help the flavor.

Vanilla Gorilla: I think this is a mix of different types of vanilla (straight, custard & something else). It's ok but there is some sort of chemical type of flavor to it. Maybe the double flavor isn't doing it any favors. Even when mixed with the Sweet Spot Coffee, I still get the chemical taste coming through.

Root Beer Float: I like the flavor when I get it, though I don't really taste any vanilla ice cream, just root beer. Problem is that like the Sweet Spot Coffee, this juice is very dark and I have problems getting it to vape in any carto I've tried it in, so I'm not sure I've even tasted the true flavor yet.

Chocolate Raspberry: This would probably be my 2nd favorite of the bunch. Seems like just the right balance of the two flavors to me. Both are there & neither overpowers the other. Tastes just like you'd expect it to.

Apple Pie: This one was really interesting. When I first tried it, it tasted like fried apples & I liked it. About a week later, the pie crust flavor came through and it was spot on. I loved it. A couple of weeks later, the cinnamon flavor had become so strong that it didn't taste anything like apple pie anymore. Now it just tastes like red hot candies & I don't care for it.

Peach Cobbler: I'm not getting much flavor from this at all, even doubled. Faint hint of peach, no cobbler.

White Smurf: Thought this would be kind of like blueberries with cream & sugar. It's not. Very strong chemical taste. I don't really get blueberries (or cream) at all. My husband, on the other hand, says it tastes like blueberries to him & likes it. Go figure.

Orange Julius: This one tastes like orange sherbert. It's good, but after one or two puffs, I've had enough. I love orange sherbert & like the flavor, it just turns out to be something that I don't care to vape. Same thing happened to me with a Mtn Dew flavor I got from another vendor. Taste was spot on (even with a slight carbonation feel) but as much as I love to drink this stuff, I don't really like to vape it.

Almond Joy: Don't care for it. Instead of coconut, I taste something more like cocoa butter. I swear I can even feel the grease on my teeth after each puff.

I have found the double flavor on some juices works for my tastebuds.

I have found the triple flavor to be a bit strong for my taste.

Each juice is hand-mixed when you order. I find letting the juices sit in the closet for 7 to 10 days brings me the best experience with Gourmet Vapor juices.

Your mileage may vary,
Happy Vaping,
Paula
