hey guys im about to purchase the v4L value shorty kit for 50 bucks i already have a 401 and 403 is this a good choice or should i go xl on batt?



p.s. i like the automatic, and not worried about battery life just want to know if you get the same hit outta the carto?

I believe the new shorties may give a better hit with the larger holes they have on them, so it seems like a wise choice.

I haven't tried the shorties but I hear they rock the cartos, just a shorter battery life.

If by hit you mean voltage, I think all the batteries are 3.7v

But the new auto shorties are supposed to have bigger airflow holes, so if by hit you mean pull, then the shorties are the way to go.

Switching to manual shorties though for refilling purposes, but they get thumbs up from me!

It's all about preference. I love the shorties, but I love the XL hit/batt life. At first I liked the big holes, now I find they're really airy.

Also i meant like pull of the cig. I dont mind if i have to pull hard but i waned to know if there was a difference between them and you guys answered! Thank you!

There is a big difference to the draw on a cigarette vs a PV, soft long slow draws are the key to the best vapor.

Does that apply to all ecig batteries? That is do all the longer ecig batteries have a greater air flow resistance? I just ordered longer 505 batteries . I prefer an easier drag.

see, no matter how good the shorties are (and they're great!)? I just really like the XL's best. I think I always will. It fits great in my lanyard and then I keep it under my hoodie and never lose it. Plus, If I forget my PCC? I have a battery that will last me a lot time.

You are in the V4L subforum bobtow, I'm not sure about 505 batteries but size doesn't seem to make a difference. I find my autos are lighter draw than my manuals though. That is until I widened the air holes myself.

yeah, i have discovered this.

bobtow--as for draw vs. length, with manuals that's not much of an issue. it may have more of an effect with autos, though.

I was having trouble getting much out of my regular autos. The first thing that popped into my mind is the old golfball garden hose joke. Then I bought a manual and things got a little easier. Then I got my shorties (large holes)....and I no longer feel like I am going to suck the thing in so far I will pierce the back of my throat like an arrow.
