Need recommendation

I'm looking for an ego style ecig. Need a glass tank and a battery that can last at least 8-9 hours. Think i would prefer a metal tip but i don't really know. If there are color options that's a plus. Basically something low maintenance and easy to use. Right now i'm using a halo triton and the problem i'm having is that i found out I can't use certain types of juice in my plastic tank and they don't make glass tanks nor do I want to find an adapter for the vgo/ 808 threads to 508. I was looking at the Kengar systems but it turned me off when I read that the tips might leak and I would have to replace the atomizer head every 10-20 days (is that normal?). Any suggestions can you please post links so I can take a look at them.

The biggest vision spinner (in terms of mah) you can find and a mini protank 3 would do nicely. The tank itself is low maintenance, much like every other tank. It comes with a metal driptip and the tank is glass. You may have to refill it once or twice throughout the day, hopefully that won't be an issue.

Replacing the atomisers is normal and 10-20 days may even be a bit long. Some people on here recommend 3-5 days, although when I was using them I'd get a month out of them. It's all down to the liquid you are using and your sense of taste.

I'd recommend the Protank II. It's 22mm so looks a bit top-heavy on an eGo, but it works well. There's the Mini-Protank which some people like, but others say it's rather too airy. The EVOD comes in glass versions now too, but it's behind the others for taste.

As regards batteries, the Joytech eGo-C Twist 1100mAh or the Vision Spinner 1300mAh should give you the battery life you're looking for. The VV isn't totally necessary with replaceable coil atomisers, but it's handy to try different resistance coils and you can compensate for an old coil or different liquids.

and for a battery an itaste vv v3 or better yet an mvp2.

an atomizer head lasts me about 3days but i often keep using them for a week till the taste gets that bad.

an mvp2 will probably last you 2 days or more before it needs recharging, but its a passthrough battery anyway to charging is pretty convenient via usb

Aspire Nautilus, best tank on the market IMO. Glass, dual coil head, nice stock stainless steel drip tip. Comes with an ego adapter in the box. But sooo much is to be gained by moving away from an ego style batt.

Another vote for vision spinner 2, and mini protank. My first nice setup was a spinner 1, and full sized pro tank 1. It was awesome.

I just found this picture I have of a Protank II on a 450mAh battery

It's not going to look quite that bad on an 1100mAh battery, and the newer eGos and the Spinner are a little wider anyway.

I found the protank II mini perfect with one flavor wick removed and two of the three air holes covered. Using either. A 60/40 or 50/50 mix. It was way way too airy with all three holes open. I just use a pice of scotch tape 3/4" that's just perfect to cover two of the holes with one small piece... Just my 2cents.

My out and abouts is usualy vision spinner with rebuilded mini pro tank 2 (recently changed them to mini protank 3s for their look)
I'm also using evod glass version which looks awesome and basicly its a mini protank 3 in a diffrent look.

The picture is abit old but it'll show you the sizes.

650mah ego mpt2 | 900 mah ego mpt2 | 1300 mah vision spinner + aerotank

The vision is quite long but it lasts a full day of use.
