I have a Cuboid that started getting super hot and the button sticks.
I have an IPV400 with finish chipping up and thus looks bad.
I have a sigelei 213 that intermittently won't fire.
Want a better small mod that takes two 18650 married batteries.
Any good ones out there? I only run coils of .5 at 24-28 watts. Can anyone give me suggestions for a better mod?

I have a Sig 213 and a Fuchai 213 I like, but sometimes kind of miss the fire button for my only "failures to fire." I have an IPV 400 I like with no chipping. I only mention that because if you otherwise like those mods, I think you will like the Alien. I have one and will go to it before the others, with or without the Baby Beast. I believe you can get it without the tank if you prefer.

And if you don't mind a little more size and weight, the Smok G-Priv 220 has become my favorite in the week I've had it. The touch screen is the easiest menu to navigate of any for me.

Mass produced Chinese mods are not built to last, they are built to be cheap. Cheap or expensive, painted metal will chip if you use the device every day.
If you step the price band you can buy into some better quality. You may want to consider a Provari, they do tubes and boxes with a great reputation for build quality and reliability.
ProVape Electronic Cigarettes & Vaporizers
Step the price up again and you can get a Axisvapes M-17 Mini which come in 18650 and 26650 models. This is a significant step up in price, but in life you tend to get what you pay for.

Those aren't dual-battery mods though. And as to quality, all the mods I've ever had (and they're numerous) are Chinese-made and only one of them has ever failed (a Koopor Mini).

Quite right, I didn't read the OP properly. How long mods last for has a lot to do with how well you look after them.
Or how lucky you are :) My most used rx200 has taken an insane amount of beating, been more or less thrown on a stone floor, and it keeps on ticking.

Gonna have to open up that wallet abit farther but for a dually the best way to go is a Hex Ohm V3.

Not that my Sig 213 or Cuboid have given me trouble but the Hex is in a class of its own.

Lately though I prefer the feel of 3 battery mods and have several RX200 and 200s's and they have been bullet proof for me. The Rx's are the ones I give the hardest service as they never fail and are only like 35 bucks to replace if they did.

With how good todays mods are I would realy have a very hard time paying more then 50 bucks for a mod. The Hex ha a lifetime warranty so there is that if it matters to you.

Edit to say I'm hitting a Hex now with a Gemini and its really a fantastic mod just expensive compared to other options. Not sorry I bought it at all.
