Hi, new to the forms here. In advance nice to meet you all. I have been vaping since 2013(woohoo). And yet I still learning, slowly...

I started out using enjoy disposables... then switched to their clearomizer set up. It was decent till I decides to buy my first real set up. Which is what I currently use til this day. Unfortunately the ich is back and I'm looking to upgrade which brings me to my question.

My current set up is simple.
I run a:
itaste clk 1280 withe a aspire nautilus.
(Works great I recommend this build to beginners. Fairly cheap works well and has durability.)

What I want to know is, is this battery safe to use if I upgrade my tank to a aspire atlantis? Iv heard good things and would like to pick one up but wouldn't be able to afford that and a new battery together. Being is how the atlantis is a sub ohm tank, I was worried that the battery wouldn't be able to handle the new tank. Or vice versa.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, and thanks for reading this.

Hello and welcome to ECF, sorry to but no that battery will not support the atlantis, it will not recognize the tank the ohms are to low the clk 1280 only goes as low as 1 to 1.2 ohms. If you are looking for a cheap mod to go with it I would look into the istick 30w works great with the atlantis and is not that expensive you can pick one up for around 40 online. Hope it all works out for you .

best wishes :toast:

Hi Grimace, I have the iStick 50W and love it. They run about $50 online and the 4400 mah battery is really nice and long lasting. It's good down to .2 ohms (according to manufacturer). Currently I run my Nautilus Mini on it, but I bought it with sub ohms in mind for future growth.

Good luck in your decision.

Since your battery will apparently support a 1.2 ohm coil, perhaps consider the Kanger Subtank Mini and use it only with the 1.2 ohm heads that are available for it until you can afford to upgrade your battery to something like the iStick 50W as suggested earlier. The Subtank Mini kind of gives you the best of both worlds since both sub-ohm and over 1 ohm heads are available. It also gives you some room to grow when you do upgrade your battery.
