New to the forum and to vaping so please excuse my ignorance on the subject of which way I need to go!

I am looking for my wife who has been using a VUSE the past couple of weeks just to get a feel for what digital vaping could do for her in helping her get of the analogs and they have worked pretty good but she's ready to move in to something to give a more complete vaping experience.
We have a neighbor who works at the local vap shop and he suggested a tubemod as my wife is not particular fond of the boxmods like he uses so that is what we are looking for.
I do not like low end crap but I am not ready to drop 300 bucks on something like the Provari P3(which I really like) but do not mind dropping 125/150 for a mod/tank/batteries etc to get started.
I did not see any brand at the local vap shop that looked good or that I have seen mentioned on here but I did see a lot of "Clones" on display and for what I thought was way to pricey so that is why I am looking for some ideas.
Do want VW or VV
Do want Ohm readout
Do want at least 20 W
Do want spring loaded battery/atty connectors
Prefer tube kit for muti size batter swap
I really like the U.S. made products when possible such as the Evolv chip set.
Sorry for wanting so much out of this post!!

Thanks in advance for any response!

Show your wife the Vapor Flask (USA) and see if she likes it.

If so, get one with the new DNA 40 chip. Should be available now or really soon.

Also VaporShark (Florida) makes a small rDNA with DNA 40 and Protovapor.com (Hawaii) has an xPV with DNA 40 that is kind of a cross between a tube and a box.

I'm sure others can add other ideas.

OH my...this Vapor Flask is awesome looking....I really do like this unit. Never seen this one but we are going to the local vape shop and meet with our neighbor friend and see what we can come up with. He and his wife came over tonight and a few different mods and a sack full of e-liquids so she could get an idea of what different mods look like and feel like. But I love the flask design....and I'm going to see if my buddy can order this one for us.

Happy Vaping!!

DNA 40 is not a device for a person who wants to upgrade from Vuse. It's a new technology, untested in real life and it's way too advanced for new vapers. So is iStick, come to think of it--we need V2. :D

Are you sure your wife wouldn't enjoy something like an MVP? The MVP3 is coming.

You said you didn't want to spend a lot of money? ;)

Is it for you or for your wife? Is she an experienced vaper? Do you realize that she will have to wind her own coils out of pure nickel wire in order to take advantage of temperature regulation feature you'll be paying for?

Anyway, American made tube mod will be expensive.

THere are many good Chinese tube mods, like Sigelei Zmax, for instance, that come with serviceable battery.

Why would your wife want 20 watts of power? I have a ProVari, a Zmax and an MVP2 and have been vaping happily for years never needing 20 watts. :D

Good luck with your search.

Great advice and I do thank you all for taking the time to respond to the post.
I did read each post and am responding here for all the post rather than each post just for convenience.

We had our neighbor friend who works at the local vape shop come by last night with full of mod/tubes tanks and juice...and we just sit around and had a vaping party and my dear wife feel in love with a Hana DNA 30 clone with a Kangertech MeniTank Mega fitted on it...so the tube fell by the wayside!!

So we went in to the shop today and get her set up with just that set up...she's loving it.

We've actually got a dream set up here with our neighbor coming right by our door with the offering to bring us anything we needed anytime...just let him know. He also winds his own coils and and he'd get me started with coil winding when I got to an RBAs and or RDAs.....so...life is good at the Redbellie home place!!!

You guys are awesome....thanks for all the help!!!

Volumes of Vapor to you and yours!!
