Need some data

I am looking for somewhere i might find data on how many people (estimated) in the U.S. and in NY use a PV, maybe sales numbers as well. Just data over all really, how many people are converting each year , that kind of thing.
I've looked at a few places that claim to be "trade associations" in the e cig industry and they all seem mildly shady. Especially one that claims to be a "major part of the e cig industry" and has a huge flash banner on their website saying that e cigs are tobacco products.

I am doing this for my own personal research, not for the fda or anyone else.

last i looked it was exactly 355,119 ppl using pv's in the state of ny. but dont quote me on that.

All I can do to help you here is say, I'm in NY and I use a PV... Other than that I don't know.

Is there a specific reason your looking for this info? I don't know if anyone has ever tried to calculate the number of vapers in a country or state. but good luck finding it.

yes, im doing research for a venture i plan to undertake. I want to see if it is financially viable before i spend capitol on it. Saying anything further may be considered "pre advertising" which i do not wish to do. Just suffice to say im doing my homework.

I'd keep a close eye on what the FDA is doing before I sank any cash into something vape related.
