Alright, would appreciate any help here,

I've only had my mini and iStick for 3 days now. Today I wanted to change my juice so I cleaned it, let it dry, refilled it and put it back together. From the first hit I had gurgling & "popping" noises. I continued to vape for a few more hits assuming it would go away; it didn't. I took off the mini and saw a bit of juice on the istick pin. Being a newbie at this I didn't know what else to do besides cleaning it again, thinking maybe it was just the juice. I changed juices and it's still doing the same thing. But this time there are bubbles coming up from the bottom of the tank.

Everything is assembled correctly, seals are both on, and all parts are properly screwed on. Any ideas?

Make sure your seal is not too tight. This happens often and causes leaking.

Alright, they weren't on too tight but either way I went ahead and loosened them up a bit. It helped. Much less gurgling; however it is still there. I'm just worried that the leaking is going to go down the pin and ruin my istick.

One thing I have done is to take it apart and blow out the air holes on the base when cleaning it with the BVC head removed.
For the bubbling, is it coming from the wicking holes? That freaked me out when I first got mine; thought it was leaking but wound up being the tank wicking and creating the vacuum.
Yeah the bubbles come from the wicking holes. That's gone for now. My main problem now is the gurgling and juice getting kicked up into my mouth. It's very unpleasant :(

I dunno if you already do this, but I make sure the ring is set to the largest opening and doesn't move from that setting when I'm screwing the base back on.

Yeah I always keep it on the largest air hole.

I've had this happen sometimes with new coils, wide open air, higher watts and if that doesn't work I'll hold upside down and fire for a few seconds(and repeat as necessary). I think that some coils need to break in and need to be gunked up a bit.

Well, the weird thing is that it only began happening after I cleaned it and changed the juice. Did I clean it too early? I've only had it for 5 days now and on day 3 was when I cleaned and changed the juice.....I was under the impression that it needs to be cleaned between juice changes.

I don't believe cleaning was the issue. I had a similar experience when mine was new (second day, maybe third refill), I read around about a problem concerning the vacuum from over tightening. I loosened the top piece just a bit, burned off the extra in the coil and a few pulls with airflow opened did the trick. I don't know if the gaskets needed some break in or what but I haven't had an issue with it sense.

Dumb question, but how do you burn of the extra? Just fire without vaping?

Turn upside down and hit the fire button

Not sure if this helped nibbs. But I was having same issues with both my minis. I've been vaping for 6 days and had this issue for same amount of time. This suggestion fixed my problem. Thank you so much. Hope it fixed yours too nibbs.

This has helped, but only for a short time. For now, the leaking and spitting juice is gone. But I notice that there's always juice in the upper hardware. Somehow it keeps getting in there.

Yes,I get juice in upper hardware. Its because I am sucking on vape to hard. I try to just sip on it now. Its I fine line for me that I'm trying to learn. I also keep a qtip close and run it down the mouth piece and tube when I start getting moisture/vape build up. You do have to take some cotton off qtip to be able to do this. And big caution. Don't push qtip into coil.

Hope you get it worked out.

The Nautilus clearos and many other clearos are prone to condensation build up. This happens more when you don't "clear the chamber" while vaping, leaving vapor in the chimney and drip tip area. You could try altering your vaping technique, by letting off of the fire button for a second before you stop drawing air, which will pull any remaining vapor out and prevent the condensate from forming so much.

The bottom of the drip tip and the area that the drip tip secures to in the upper hardware WILL pick up condensate, it is almost unavoidable. Just keep a q-tip around to swab it out every now and then. That may be part of your issue.

Yup, I've been doing this. The Qtip seems to pick up A LOT of liquid. I'm thinking like you said I might be drawing too hard. I'll adjust that and see what happens.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. It'll be a little adjustment though lol, I'm just so used to firing and stopping the draw at release.
