Not sure where to post this so please feel free to move to appropriate forum.

I have a smoketek varicool box mod. The power kept going out and I noticed if I tapped o. The on/off switch it would come back on. I am not good at soldering or replacing parts. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there was anyone here in ecf that could replace the on/off switch for me (for a fee of course). I am willing to pay for the switch and the cost of labor to install it. I purchased the box mod used from the classifieds so I cannot send it back to the place it was originally purchased. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I have only been able to use the box a few days befor I started havi g problems and would love to use it again. If anyone can help me either post a reply or PM me.

Yeah, those type switches do tend to be junk.
I'm sure RadioShack stocks those switches with the same or better specifications and physical dimensions.
And I could definitely replace it, but if you can't do it and don't know anyone that can then IMO it is not worth the trouble of shipping back and forth and paying someone for parts and labor.
For $35 you can buy a new variable box mod from MadVapes, very close to what you have if not better.
Variable Voltage Box Mod

Sorry but my advice is, don't bother trying to fix it, if you can't do it yourself.

P.S. - If the two wires are long enough to be cut at the switch, stripped alittle and twisted together real good then you may be able to at least get some use out of what you have for now. Perhaps you are capable of doing this, just a thought.
