This is all news to me .. I had no idea that I can use a 901 drip tip on a KR808 battery and try juices that way .. are you saying that I wouldnt need anything else, just a KR battery and a 901 drip tip? Does a drip tip have an atty in it .. is that why I wouldnt need anything else .. or have I misunderstood?

901 atty & drip tips are two different things

but a 901 drip tip will fit on a 808 carto... you just need to be careful dripping into a cartomizer.

The purpose of my OP was to find out if it is better to use an atty to test flavors over filling a blank carto.

Well, you'd need a 901 atty and a drip tip. Just screw the atty onto the KR808 battery, burn the primer off (or use vodka as some do) and then test out the juices on it. Or, you can just do like I do. Screw in the 901 atty, drip into it, and put a cart (minus the filling) on it to keep from burning your lips. Call me crazy, but I think it accomplishes the exact same thing. Of course, I'm much newer to this than you are so I am probably wrong!

Yeah that's what I thought and was trying to say .. earlier in the thread it sounded like all someone needs is a 901 drip tip and a KR batt .. and I said to myself .. what about the atty? Anyway, I have a KR808 and also an eGo .. I do test juices out with my ego using the atty and a blank eGo cart on the atty (to keep from burning my lips). Just thought, after reading the thread, that maybe there was some new drip tip out there that has it's own atty LOL.

Btw, welcome to PIF, Jackie! Should've said that in my last post.

For those wondering who Stash is, she's the lady that introduced a ton of us to ECF and, in many cases, to e-cigarettes themselves via another forum dedicated to cruise planning.

I think you are referencing when I asked if I needed an adapter for the 901 atty to the KR808D-1 battery

Yikes... lol... I have no idea.... that is why I am asking these questions....

Thanks for the nice welcome Satharra .. and now all of these people that I introduced ecigs to have not only quit smoking analogs but they also have a new, insatiable hobby to replace it .. it's called buy-trade-buy-sell-buy-buy-buy LOL. BTW, I followed you to this thread, I havent done PIF nor do I know how to do it, but it sounds like fun and another thing I could add to my ever-growing hobby :)
