Need some wire and wicking material help guys...what do you recommend?

So I have a mech and rba coming. It'll take a while to get here so I'm using that to learn up. I am aware of the dangers. I currently have an MVP2 as a daily but want a mech and rba for some tinkering and cloud chasing at home. Anyway, the atomizer is an RSST and I do plan on checking all my buils on a meter and using a 30amp battery to avoid....you know, blowing .... up in my hand.
What I am curious about is what gauge or type of wire should I order as well as wicking material. I kind of want some better flavor but mostly just some giant clouds to have some fun with. What would you suggest?
Also, what would I use mesh for? I heard it's used as a wicking material? I'm not sure, any light in that direction would be very much appreciated.

yes SS Mech is use to make the wick for the RSST

Ss mech is the most common, I have found cotton is cheap and works well. I make micro coils and cotton wick.

For wire, buy from temco, and with a mvp stay above 1.2 ohms. I make 1.8 micro coils with 30 guage.

I use 2mm ekowool and 30 guage kanthal to build my RSST.



^^ That is my first build on the RSST i did and i love the flavor i get from ekowool. I havent used SS mesh, but i personally dont have the patience to do oxidizing and whatnot.

I recently bought 100 feet of 30 guage kanthal from "LightningVapes" on ebay for $5, arrived quickly. Also bought my ekowool on ebay.

I'm by no means an RBA expert, but I think vapor production has more to do with the coil itself rather than the wicking material. cotton will probably give you the best flavor out of all of the options, just make sure you dont dry burn it.

Temco or lightning vapes on ebay for wire - 30 or 32 (or both - if you get 100 ft odds are pretty good it will be a one time purchase) - lightning vapes has reasonable priced mesh - organic cotton at walgreens

and if you want to try SS cable just PM me - I have a bunch of 3/16 7x7 SS and I'll mail you some ( as long as it's in the US) - Merry Christmas - (don't tell anyone it's free or everyone will want some) it will need to be torched red hot because there is a small nylon strand in the center

Try all 3 and find what you like. That's what makes vaping enjoyable, finding your favorite vape.

Watch the video and with a micr coil and cotton he is blowing a nice cloud. Mine look about the same. Key is also drilling stock air hole out, way small for me.
