So since I lasted posted here it's been quite a few months (around 3 or more I believe) and it's been a good journey, had some ups and downs and I definetely thought about going back to cigs at some points but it hasn't happened yet and I'm not looking forward to doing it! (It's been more than 3 months off the stinkies)
Anyway since I dont want to make a frustratingly long topic, I have basically switched to a eVic basic mini-mod for the past 1.5-2 months or so, and I currently have a GS-Air M tank on it. At first it was good, but I've grown bored of it. I get no satisfaction whatsoever anymore, no matter what coil or juice I try, plus it has some occasional spitback and leaking. I'd like to get a new tank, and I'm looking for good flavor and good vapor production, a balance between the two, something that will satisfy me enough to eliminate the cig cravings. I'm really stuck right here and I'd like to hear your suggestions! (Please keep in mind that I am using an eVic basic, which is a mini mod so I'd like something that fits [22mm], and also, my budget is quite tight so I can't buy something expensive)
Sorry if I posted in the wrong category..
TL;DR : What tank would you suggest for good flavor and vapor production?

The GS Air tanks are one of my favorites. They have good flavor and decent clouds, for me anyway.

I also like the Ego One and Tron S tanks with the CLR (rebuildable) coils. I use the 1 ohm ones but there is a .5 ohm coil available. I would say the flavor and clouds are a little better than the GS Airs.

It could be that your nic level is too low for the tank you have.

I started at 18mg but went up to 24mg because I was still getting some cravings.

Someone may come along with other recommendations.

I use this site a lot to search for good prices Vapecrawler

I agree with gandymarsh - More than needing a different tank, it may be that your nic is too low. I smoked 1 - 1 1/2 PAD for 42+ years, and I've been satisfied using a variety of different set-ups the last 3 years...from eGo 1100mAh batteries with PT2 Mini's, to MVP 2.0 with Innokin 16D clearomizers, to CF4 with a Kayfun shorty tank, etc.. Have used between 1.2-1.8ohms for all of those. Key to keeping me off the cigs has been finding my "happy spot" with the nic level.

Just recently got my hairdresser started on vaping, and she smoked for 35+ years 1 1/2 PAD at least. She's using a couple Evods with their tanks and an Eleaf Mini 10W Mod with a PT2 Mini. She's doing great cutting back on the smokes and slowly switching over because I got her on 2 different nic strengths. One lower one for most of the day, and 1 higher nic one for when the cravings really hit her. She says that's what's doing it for her...having both to rely on and not just 1 nic level.

Maybe you need to try something like that instead of a different tank? Or, if you're really having problems with the tank...get a different one but try various nic mg eliquids, too.

Thanks for your suggestions! The nicotine content makes sense, I usually vape 6mg though (I dropped to it really quickly after switching to vaping since my starter kit was sub-ohm) and it has been fine up until I got this tank, I've tried 12mg on it and it's fine I guess but too harsh on my throat. I'll see if I can find something around 8-9mg but I'll probably get a new tank anyway since I'm not too satisfied with the performance, but again thanks for the suggestions

The Ijust S tank isn't badly priced.
It uses Atlantis/Melo tyoe coils.
The airflow control ring is adjusted with a silicone
band slipped over the tank like the ones folks use to protect their glass tanks. (vape bands)

If you don't mind increased airflow over the gs-air you will certainly get higher performance from the Ijust S. Cheers.

FYI you could buy some nicotine base from a place like myfreedomsmokes and add to the juice you have. I would choose 100mg/ml.

If you were to buy an Ego One/Tron tank, the .5 ohm CL/CLR coils have a much larger air hole and, since they are sub ohm, will give you more nicotine and vapor. You may be fine with 6mg.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check out the iJust S tank for sure! I have gotten used to lung hits after switching to vaping and sometimes enjoy them even more so the airflow isnt a problem. As for nicotine base, I'm not really looking to up the nicotine if that's what you mean, if I can get more satisfaction without having to do so it's fine, but I'll probably get some nicotine base if nothing else works. Thanks for the help!

Hmm seems like the iJust S tank is 24.5mm in diameter which will probably look a little funky on my mod (eVic basic [22mm]). I was thinking about getting the tank that normally comes with the evic basic(i got the mod seperately), the cubis pro mini, and while I've heard some good stuff about it theres a lot of people saying that it has terrible spitback.. Whats your guys input on this? Any experience?

Melo is the same tank it comes in 22mm so does the Tron-S and Ego One Mega. The Tron-S and Ego One Mega take CLR rebuildable coils as stated above so thats your best investment. If you decide to rebuild later your tank already has that option. As for flavour I find I can't taste them much after a couple days so I have a bunch of tanks I use in rotation with different flavours in them. 4 tanks and 8 flavours in rotation usually.

I like my Evic Mini's, I have 7 of them now. Great little mods and if you have two or more with you at all times who needs duel battery devices.

There are lots of atty's on the market and most of them, especially the popular ones will all perform well. Much of their performance though will depend on you and how you've set them up, what juice your vaping, and at what power settings. Two months in this industry is a very long time so I'd agree it's time you bought a new atty.

In fact I'm going to suggest you buy a few new atty's and venture into RTA's/RDA's/RBA's/RTDA's etc. These all have one common theme, they are rebuildable. That should perk your interest again. Of course then you'll need more than just one mod and you may as well opt for something with more power than 75 watts. I mean why not.

When you begin to get bored with that well there's something called DIY that will keep more than entertained for a long time to come.

I never understood why people need 7 mods for 7 tanks lol. He has Evic basic, 40w I think. Should be enough for any single coil builds or any normal dual builds. I run 0.3 Ohm 26 awg nichrome dual 5 wraps at about 35w. I have 8 tanks, 1 Evic vtc mini and 7 tanks stands :p

Cubis, yes all these leak proof cup tanks have spit back whenever you put the coil back in... everytime you fill it. It goes away usually after a few puffs so people that know the trick just push fire button a few times then do very light draws the first few puffs to clear out the flood. They have a BF rebuildable coil too but much harder to rebuild then CL-R.

I love the GS M tank.
If you aren't finding it good enough, maybe a step up to the Uwell Crown (v.1) might hit the spot.
Just a heads up they finally fixed the new crown coils after 4th try to revise them. Newest tank is SE-1 uses the Crown 2 coils and it's getting great reviews.

Thanks for the heads up I'll definetely check out the melo! (I'm sorry, I forgot to add that I live in Greece so some products like the Ego One Mega aren't available, but most are) As for the rebuildable parts I'm not really interested in that part since I've seen my coils generally last up to 2 weeks before tasting burnt if I dont make any mistakes, so I don't have a problem with paying like 2-3 euros a month. It's a pretty good deal. As for the taste fading out, I find that it happens to me with different juices, so I'll have like 2 flavors and switch them around once it starts hapenning

I'm more interested in making DIY juice than RTA/RBA/RDA etc. I've seen a lot of stuff and it definetely peaks my interest, but I mostly vape when I'm outside (and thats pretty much the whole day), so using an RDA isn't really ideal here. As for the others, maybe in the future who knows. For now I'd like a simple tank with good enough clouds and taste :p but thanks for the suggestions anyway!

Yeah don't get me wrong it's quite a good tank and I might have over exaggarated in the OP but I have become quite bored of it, I'd definetely like an update and I might just keep this gs air m as a backup in case anything happens to the one I'll get. Anyway thanks for suggesting the Uwell Crown, but it seems like it's not available where I live! (I should have mentioned it, I live in Greece) But no prob thanks for helping!

Thank you for the info, this is pretty much what happens with this gs air m as well for some reason but it definetely isn't a big of a deal enough to annoy me. Would you suggest the cubis pro mini or should I save a bit more and get something else? It deff has good vapor production and flavor, seen a few reviews. It's also relatively cheap but all the reviewers(almost) mentioned the spitback and if it's really that severe I'd look at something else

Yeah... again Tron-S comes up. Hmmmm wonder why. Like we said great tank with RBA option down the road if you change your mind. $0.02 for a coil is much better then 2-3 euro for 2. Whatever you get I'd get something with at least the option. I didn't think I'd build either, now I have Tron-S, UD Bellus RTA. Haze RDTA, FreakShow RDA and Goblin RDA.
