Could someone hopefully recommend to me where to go buy one of these devices near to me. I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Been smoking since i was 15, and now i'm 40. I've tried everything to give up, you name it i've done it. my marriage is at stake, my health...
oh, right now i smoke around 15-25 cigarettes a day, so hopefully something feels like a cigarette and i smoke Du maurier Prestige large king.
You really need to make sure you get a GENUINE Joyetech eGo-C Twist. It's a variable voltage eGo VVPV (variable voltage personal vaporizer) that costs around $26-28 USD per battery (get 2-3 - you need a backup and if you lose one, which DOES happen, 2 is not a real backup. 3 is a backup). You will need an eGo USB Charger as well (output DC 4.2v 420mA - don't pay more than $10 USD). Altsmoke.com has the best deal right now in America on genuine Joyetech eGo-C Twists. They might ship to you. Give it a try. It's in Ohio so that's not THAT far from Ontario. Their shipping costs are some of the lowest in the business. I personally pay about $2.50 for them to ship to me (USD) - YMMV (but the company doesn't gouge you on shipping like some others - it's about half the price of other companies). I recommend the E1-V clearomizer (from DiscountVapers.com) as your clearomizer of choice, but if you can't get them in Canada then the Vivi Nova is a distant second place contender.
If you'd like to learn more about vaping, with a quickness, take it upon yourself to click the link in my signature (above my quit banner) and read the Vaper's Handbook. I wish you the best of luck. I quit on the first day with e-cigs and haven't smoked since, in 7+ months. I'm saving so much money and I feel so much better it's ridiculous. It's as close as you can be to a non-smoker again. Soon you will laugh at smokers for being foolish.
BTW: I took a chance on a knockoff eGo-C Twist and it's a poor imitation of the real deal. I posted pics on my blog to show you how to spot a fake (it's Question 50 (Q50) on page 2). The voltage potentiometer barely twists. I have to focus my chi to even get it to move with my bare hands, or better yet, use a rubber jar gripper to move it exactly where I want it. The battery life is also 10% worse on the knockoff (900mah compared to the genuine Joyetech's 1000mah). I have easily drained it in one day (ALMOST before my day was done) which is not the case with my genuines - they make it all the way through. All in all it wasn't worth the pain and suffering versus the money I saved. When I got it I used said jar gripper and tried to break it in. Back and forth I went for an hour and then I realized I had 2 blisters from the friction burn. One on my thumb, and the other on my forefinger. It only helped a little bit.
Here's an old pic of my eGo-C Twist with a Vivi Nova Mini (2.0ml tank), and an eGo Mini Cone (to cover the threads) on it:
For the record the E1-V clearomizer covers those threads much better WITHOUT a mini cone/collar/sleeve (an extra, and unnecessary purchase).
