I has my last analog about half a year ago and then subox Mini happened. Kit still works great albeit minor issues like occasional leak from air-holes coil burn-outs. I am looking for a new kit that can fix these issues and fit following criteria:

  1. Budget: < $150
  2. Watts: ~100W
  3. Replacement coils available: 0.5 Ohm
  4. Temperature control
  5. Compact Size [that can fit into my pocket]
  6. Solid reliable performance for chain-vaping
Would really appreciate any advise.

For a mod look into the new joyetech cuboid. Small, plenty power, brilliant screen and all features that all the 'big boys' have for less than 40$. Its an amazing mod, pretty much like the vtc mini but dual battery and as small as 2 battery mods can come.

Tanks, plenty choices ..tfv4 is still a solid performer although around for a while. Can do simple coils to almost ridiculous octa coil heads. Has rba coilhead too for 1,2 or 3 coils if you're up for it. Any of the coil heads can be fired by the cuboid mentioned earlier.

Hi and glad to have you here! I only started vaping in December and the Kanger Subox Mini Kit helped me quit smoking yay! :) Regrettably I can not give much advice as I haven't reached the 100W vapes. In addition I cannot think of any mod and tank which may meet your criteria, especially with regard to it's portability. There are plenty of small mods that could feel comfortable in the pocket, but I believe most of them to max out at around 75W. I'm sure other members will come up with something. Hang in there!

For a cheap mod with great battery life, the 100W iStick is decent, but it's bottom of the barrel for quality. The parallel batteries give you lots of run time between charges though, and it's pocket friendly. Only $30, but you get what you pay for. I got the RX200 a few weeks ago and have been super happy with it. It hasn't been out long enough for anyone to really comment on it's longevity, but it's the best value for your buck these days. 200W, all the TC modes, small size, and only $40. I don't use prefab coils, so I can't offer much advice on a tank unless you want to build your own coils. When I did use prefab coils, the only sub-tanks I really liked were the Arctic and the Atlantis. Neither of them ever leaked on me. The Arctic had better flavor, but the Atlantis coils lasted longer. You can grab either of those tanks for around $20 or less these days since they are last years tech.

I would go with the eVic VTC mini actually seems to be right up your alley. If you don't prefer that one then maybe the Sigelei 75W TC, or Smok X Cube mini. Tank wise I would highly recommend the Herakles. Have had this tank since it came out and still going strong. Herakles is very hard to get a dry hit at 60W chain vaping max VG.

I would like to thank you all for your advice. I finally got a Cuboid 150 TC with Crown Subtank today. I am vaping on 0.25 Ohm SS coil head at 80W in wattage mode. I went through 4ml of 60:40 juice with 6 mg nicotine in 30 minutes. Swear to god, i haven't gotten this high in years. My head is spinning like crazy, not in a bad way. Still trying to figure out TC mode on this thing. What TCR settings you guys recommend for SS? Not that i am unhappy with wattage mode. :)

jup, more wattage, lower ohms = more vape, more nic you take in.
try a 3 nic.
and now that you have 2 tanks you could try 1.5 or something in the new one and 6 or 8 in the old one. vape the low nic all you want and if you have a craving grab the other one
:p
