Hello everyone, been reading through a lot of these posts about what e cig to buy but I haven't found any recent posts on a cig a like. I currently have a ego twist 1000mah and feel that it is too big to take to work. I'm looking for something slim now that my v2 has taken a dump. The v2 was fine for taking to work, but I'm hoping someone here can redirect to something better yet similar in size. Appreciate any response :)

Look around and find a 350 mAh 510 battery and a handful of refillable 510 cartomizers. When I was first switching from the Blu set, I found some on madvapes.com that I almost bought. I think they might even have a starter kit. Then you just have to learn how to refill the cartomizers and you're golden. And don't worry, it's easy:)

Are you using cartos or clearos? How much do you vape?

if it's cartos, buy a pair of good quality 510 manual batteries (I have 2 x joyetech 280mAh) and fill your own.

if it's clearos, buy a mini ego (or 2) and use mini novas or evods or CE5s. (I have a Crystal mini)

I don't like the eroll or the ecab - I don't like any/all those types.....

All Halo's are 808 threaded. So a slim cig look the G6 is great. bnrk

The halo g6 looks promising at a good price. Is the threading on the halo 510? I could not find anything under specifications. Do you happen to know where I can take a closer look at the mini ego or the eroll? Thanks

Currently using the v2 cartos of their site. Just needing it for work so I vape maybe 30 mins during work and use me ego twist at home.
Can you recommend a legit site for 510 manual batteries and the mini ego?

Halos G6 would work perfectly for your needs. Available in manual, has cartos and tanks, available in 3 sizes (though the 102mm is only available in black). They have a good battery life and produce great vapor for a cig a like. And as youve mentioned the price is good.

Unless you require variable voltage or are interested in a 510 connection so you can keep using parts you still have you should really consider the G6. They get nothing but stellar reviews.

I'm having some problems with my KR808's. The local vendor I got them from- (I've bought 4 or 5), 2 have quit on me all together and the ones that are working seem to have a sub-standard battery life.
I remember my first KR 808's. Usually a battery would last a day without giving up. And I've always liked them because they're close to the actual size of a cigarette.
So, my question is this Halo G6 a decent replacement for a Kr808? If not, then where can I get something better than these funky Chinese made, low-life battery things I've got now?

I'm a fan of volt, and bloog for the smaller batteries. Sounds like the G6 has a good backing as well, though I have no experience with that particular batt. The downside to all the smaller batts though is they will eventually weaken, and die. Thankfully they're fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. I also only use mine at work, and this is part of the reason.

google "mini ego kit" and you'll find several options from $15+ for battery, charger and either a clearo or cartomizers. i ordered from scvapours and had it in 2 days.

If you want a low res/high voltage kit, get a pcc and 510 cigalike batteries and there are carto's with 2.0 ohm res used this setup myself for the past few months, generally cheap setup once you've got the PCC. was using the innokin AIO, joyetech 510s & a LR carto. Hope this helps as they dont get much smaller than the twist. Also could be good to know if you are looking for a skinnier/shorter device or both. Happy hunting

G6 is a KR808, just a name brand one. Its considered to be one of the best cig a likes out right now, though the ultimate decision comes down to personal preference. The XL G6 battery (102mm, only available in black) will have your best battery life obviously and could easily last a full day unless youre a very heavy vaper. This is not to say the standard and mini sizes dont hold their own...but the battery life will be slightly less.

Compared to a chinese knock off itll be like night and day (though that can be said when comparing any quality vape to a chinese counterpart)

If you don't mind waiting on shipping from China, this deal looks to be unbeatable. http://.........blogspot.com/2013/06/newbie-ego-evod-kit-881.html I wanna buy a couple but I swore I'd stop buying gear til the number in my signature got a little closure to my total spent on vaping. :p

I have the 65mm batts, and the battery life is pretty good considering how small they are. Two fully charged lasts me almost all day, when I am done with the first used up batt I throw it on the charger and it is charged way before the second one dies. I have been vaping pretty heavily since I am analog free for the last 11 days!
