Is there any way to get a TH from a 0mg nic e juice???

Short and to the point: NO. If there was, the vast majority would be using it and it wouldn't be a secret. There is no additive that duplicates the throat hit provided by nicotine. There are additives that provide throat irritation, such as pepper but that's a far cry from the throat hit provided by nicotine.

Try some low resistance cartos, like the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer, aka EMDCC. Another thing you could try is the eGo C Twist variable voltage battery. You could try the higher voltage settings and see if that helps. Any eGo stuff you have will also work on the Twist.

That's what I'm using now - ego twist and LR cartos. With the twist at about 4.2v and a 1.7ohm carto, I'm quite happy with the throat hit I get. I know there are plenty of PVs that are more powerful, but when you're on a tight budget the twist is a nice, inexpensive upgrade option IMO.

So then what are these:

Once again…I'm not sure if I know what throat hit is…12mg/ml, 18mg/ml, and 24mg/ml juice feel basically the same to me. And, switching from 24mg to 12mg just made me want to vape more often.

BUT…

If throat hit is what I think it is then it's related to a tightening of the throat muscles when the drug hits the mucosa at the back of the throat. That would feel something like a brief tightening, maybe tingling to some people. It's a specific kind of irritation that I think has to do with activating motor neurons quickly.

I have felt that before (most strongly with nicotine gum, but vaping does it too) and I agree that it's completely different from the "hit" that comes when something spicy hits your throat or a lot of other irritants, and I think it feels completely different from the irritation from inhaling cigarettes moke. But there are other drugs/chemicals that do it.

I don't know them off the top of my head, but I'd guess those products are using one of those……if they're anything other than marketing tricks to get people to buy stuff and then banking on placebo effects.

Not real throat hit in the way it is felt by nicotine. Throat irritation/burning provided by ingredients like pepper. (not something I would want to inhale) Again, if there was a magical additive that duplicated the throat hit provided by nicotine, almost everyone would be using it and it would not be a side show product.

20mg you should be getting a good throat hit. But i have heard of people being "immune" to throat hit.

I guess we all have our own idea of what a good throat hit is. I'm happy with my twist (4.2v) + 1.7 ohm + 24mg, but I had to use a SR carto recently, and I found that the SR on a standard ego battery (with 24mg) was giving me really weak feeling hits.

Leothwyn, what is that music? It looks danged old. What is the name of that piece that it comes from?

Yeah, it's pretty old... 'Three Ravens' by Thomas Ravenscroft - sometime around 1600, if I remember correctly.

Throat hit seems somewhat subjective. Many vapers think that the throat hit from additives differs from that from nicotine. As I haven't used nicotine for many years, it's dificult for me to relate to that. However, I can unequivocally state that it's possible to get throat hit without nicotine. I get what I consider a good throat hit by adding 4 drops of Desert Ship and 1 drop of Cherry to 5ml of VG. I doubt that someone accustomed to nicotine would feel anything from this.

I'm not disputing that you are feeling something from your eliquid. But it just isn't throat hit as understood on this forum. That only comes from nicotine. Many of us (probably thousands) who have vaped for a long while have tried just about every method to duplicate the throat hit from nicotine and it just doesn't exist. If it did, I and thousands of others would be using it.
