Hello. My wife and I both use Nemesis clones and mine is great, and I can't even figure out who made it. My wifes, on the other hand, looks beautiful but has some build issues such as crunchy threads etc (although hers has an adjustable 510 and mine does not, go figure) Now we both upgraded to the magnetic switches, on hers though the switch is really loose when screwed in. I deduced that it was that little tiny pin that goes into the switch! It seems that the pin is much smaller then the hole in which it goes, this allows the the button alot of play and it drives her nuts. My pin fits perfect and is actually magnetic so no problems. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we could do to rig it or fix it? Any help would be appreciated , thanks everyone

Sorry to hear about the problems with your Nemesis. My quick fix for the rice pin problem was making some nano coils out of 28g with about 10 to 12 wraps and trimming to length to fit perfectly. Works like a solid piece of metal and you don't have to wait for vapemail. :)
I like your idea I never thought of that.
I went to the basement and cut a piece of copper wire while I waited for the mail. I don't remember the gauge but it worked.

WOW great advice on the nano coil! and as far as the copper goes I am lost trying to find the proper gage, already tried two different stores sadly. Thanks for the help though!

If you can't find any copper wire, just make yourself a nano coil and trim the length to fit inside the rice pin channel. It's been working well for me.

Well ....! that is amazing. I am quite sure I can find something to fit. Does it have to be smooth so the button can move over it or does it move with the ring on the button? I can't really tell as I look at it now.

Line is self lubrication - either will do as long as it fits properly.

The Rice Pin can be replaced by a proper sized plastic tube - weed whacker string.
It is not needed as part of the conductive circuit. It is to keep the button from free spinning.

Hi crxess, are you sure about that? maybe I am wrong but I had the impression that the purpose of the pin is to assist with conductivity along with the small hard spring that is located below the pin. btw I own the original Nemesis so I may be talking about a different thing.
