NEPTUNE VIVI NOVA newb!

I ordered the new vivi nova 3.5mil. The metal one. Madvapes calls it the Neptune. Is there any advice that could be given on first time use? I heard something about dry burning to get the PG primer off. I basically would like to get done with the breaking in stage as fast as possible and would love advice.


Also an efficient way to get rid of old flavors in it. I'm used to using a tank and atomizer set up(the ego tank system that leaks and is notorious for dry hits)and the nova should be here tomorrow. I ordered some HHV's Gandalf that I'm obnoxiously excited about and darn Heather has to be such a great vendor and make her liquids fresh and customizable and there is no telling how long it will take for it to get here. Therefore I'll be vaping either Cola or Ice menthol from T.W.(which are very strong)out of the vivi nova as soon as I get it.

Which means I will need to completely clean it. ;/


Any tips on out of the box use and cleaning would be great!

As far as cleaning the Nova's the way i do mine is to disassemble them then rinse them under as hot o water as i can stand then pat dry then put on a different head and filll then vape. As far as i know the new one comes with 3 heads and you can purchase more in the ohm rating that you like. That way you can clean a head and as it is drying still be able to vape. The heads are also rebuildable if you want to there are plenty of tuts online on how to. I have some of Heathers juices they are good the Gandalf is not to my tastes tho Blade Runner and Vaping Chimp are tho.Congrats on the purchase and enjoy.

The new versions (All mine anyway) did not come primed. I just unscrew the top cap, and place a few drops of whatever I wanna vape on the coils, then fill er' up.

Cleaning, before juce changes is easy as dropping in a glass of very hot water that has been microwaved to a boil, and as rik701 said, a pat dry.
I like to do a quick dryburn after a water boil to help burn off excess water the paper towl did not remove

I got mine today. Primed by putting a drop or 2 on the coil, filled it up and it is working fantastic.

Thanks everyone. I got it yesterday and primed the coil and wick entry with some titan cola ejuice. Vapes fantastically right out of the box. I'm surprised because it doesn't seem to need any sort of "breaking in period" as many people claim.
