New 510 tank atomizer gives bad taste

I received a new Joye 510-T starter kit yesterday. Been about 6 months since last time I used an e-cig, I had eGo.
So the problem is. Both atomizers made really bad taste and made me cough which has never happened before. I think the problem may be with this 30ml apple PG eliquid I had ordered from some random place.

Today I got some coca eliquid which I used when I had eGo and then gave to her, when I quit using it.
I don't know how but one atomizer started working better when I used this. Lots of vapor (had vapor with the other eliquid too) and taste is great, no longer burnt taste. The other atomizer is still ....ed up.

What should I do? Clean it in hot water? I've never had this problem before.

You probably didn't prime the atty nor blow out the primer. Before I use a new T atty. I would blow all the primer out of it first. Then fill it up and do some primer puffs and wait a few minutes and finally, vaping. That would help out a bit and after a tank full. It only gets better since it's broken in now.
