New 5V Dripper Woes/Concerns

I have a Prodigy V2 with 510 atomizers (one for tobacco flavors and one for menthol/sweet flavors, with more on the way when Heaven Gifts gets back from vacation). I think most of these are probably user error on my part, so can you please correct my mistakes?

1) 510 atty gets really hot. I think this may be because I'm not pausing enough between puffing or may be inhaling too hard? Both of which I just sorta noticed might be a problem? I suspect I may be inhaling too hard as there's sometimes liquid on the tip, but I'm not sure if it's from condensation from the vapor.

2) 510 atty upside V shape is now kinda like an upside fat T shape. I didn't notice that the plastic tip was rectangular (assumed it was round and just fit in there and cleared the atty like my 801 for the Prodigy V2), and think I may have swished the sides of the upside down V inwards by mistake. Did this harm my atty?

3) The sampler pack of bottles from Puresmoker are a bit messy. The liquid that didn't fully exit the drops runs down the sides and I don't always have a napkin to wipe it down. Is there an easier way? Is that was the syringes with needles are for I see in pictures? I did order a bottle from Halo and it seems it has a built-in dropper. I assume this is the preferred method for dripping?

4) I keep the batteries in the Prodigy V2. Am I supposed to take them out; does having batteries in the device drain power in not in use?

Thanks in advance for your help!

1. A 510 at 5 volts is drawing over 2 amps. So it will definitely get very hot if you chain vape on it. Even after one hit, it will be pretty hot, so just let it cool off a bit in-between hits.

2. If the atty still works, it's still fine for dripping. But don't even bother to try and use a full cart on it. However, that atty's days may be numbered, then again, maybe not.

3. Yup, that happens with small dropper bottles, especially when they get less then 1/2 full. Just carry a few napkins in your pocket. They don't take up any room anyway. Or keep your dropper bottles topped off. Also, some dropper bottles are worse then others.

4. Shouldn't drain power, unless there is a short. So you can safely leave batteries in overnight and not worry.

1) Your basically right. The 510 does get hot. Try taking about 5 second drags then letting it cool off a tad. I give it about 10 seconds usually.

2) Doubt it. There is a support piece of metal under the mesh on the wick and its pretty sturdy

3) Try holding the bottle completely vertical and controlling the drops. But its common for a little to go over the edge. Try holding the tip of the bottle against the side of the atty wall. This should pull that little extra into the atty

4) I leave mine in. Doesn't drain them at all if the button isn't pressed and making contact.

But thats just my opinion :)
