Hello all. I'm new to the e cig movement. I started a week and a half ago. Analog free five days now. I got the halo g6 to start off on. 1. Sometimes I don't seem to get anything out of a drag and the light doesn't light up. Anyone tell me why? It's a freshly charged battery. 2. I really prefer the mini tank. Not the cartridges. Would it be better for me to switch to the triton or another larger version? If not the triton any suggestions?

Thanks you for reading and hopefully for some assistance.

:)

I really don't know what is wrong with your battery, but if the battery does not light up, then it is not firing, so it's not heating the coil in the clearomizer. You may want to use some alcohol ant clean the contact end in case it is gunked up and not making good contact with charger.

By the way, the G6 clearo is the same as a Kanger T4 which I used to get cheaper below:

Kanger 808D-1T4 Clearomizer

While there is nothing wrong with the Triton (I used them for a few months) the 808 threading really limits you in your choices for other types of tanks. I would suggest you get a true 510 or 510/ego threaded battery.

Congrats on your switch! We know what it's like :)
I agree with Grimwald, though, about the 510 threading or ego battery. I've found it much easier to find equipment for those types rather than the 808 threading.
Good luck!
By the way, a nice little 510 I found is the Kamry x6. Works well for me, has three settings. I think it's only like 20 bucks at usavapeshop.com, too.
I use it with a Protank 2 and it works just fine!
