New, about to Order my Magma - Anyone want to talk me out of it? or have a referall code

So, I don't smoke analogs (been lurking, picking up the lingo), I have smoked other things (legal in CA) in the past and haven't done that in almost 2 years. The reason I am here today, is to help my friends. I have 5 maybe 6 people with whom I hang out with socially that smoke quite a bit, not a pack a day but maybe a pack every 2 days. One of them has/had a father die from lung cancer. So for Christmas I was going to buy them e-cigs, as an healthier alternative.

I myself have been inhaled (har har har pun) into the scene and find it interesting. From my research the volcano magma is a great place to start. So I was gonna by a starter kit with 3 levels of nicotine in the menthol flavor (full, light, and zero), so they can try it out and hopefully save money and stop making me smell horrible when I hang out with them. Menthol is their preferred brand of analog.

What I have found is that the magma is a great jumping on point. I personally wanna drip or dip the watermelon and blue punch 0 nicotine flavors. The starter kit lets me get the three levels of nicotine so they can experiment with what levels they like. I added 2 drip tips and 2 extra atomizers as well.

I found a 10% discount code and 2 day shipping is like 8 bucks right now, during the process I saw that there is a place for a referral code or email. So first come first serve if some one wants to refer me to them, I will use the first person that wants what ever they get for that.

But before I buy I wanna know, is there a better place to start? Is there a better discount code? Anything else I should consider? Also we all smoke a hookah every once in a while, is there an e-cig equivalent?

Go for the Inferno., I got both the Magma and Inferno. After 23yrs, I quit analogs one week ago (day I got the kits) After trying both systems and being a former smoker, the Magma kit went in a drawer and Inferno is all I use. The Inferno just seems to have more kick plus I much preffer a manual battery for vape control. I think Volcano is a good company with great service. Had a misorder on an atty from them, two days later it was here (PA). If your set on the Magma, let me know. I will sell you my brand new Starter kit (as shown on Volcano's page less the cart samples with an extra batt and 1 atty) for +/- $45.

If you're looking to get gifts for friends, MadVapes has 510 kits, which are basically the same as the Magma, but they have holiday kits with juice included for a really low price. So low that there are only a few left.
510 Holiday Kit or 510 Mega Holiday Kit

You might want to check them out. Or, like banjo said, shop for the sales where he linked to.

Do you like what you have bought from them?

yup. i never had any problems with faulty products or bad shipping, etc, it's been nothing but good experiences and their magma atomizers are my favorite.

the best thing about volcano is that they offer a 1 year warranty on their batteries, most places only usually give you 14 days or a month. having to replace a battery cancels out any savings i saved upfront by ordering from somewhere else.

honestly I'd say go with the inferno. It's less hassle. I've had my magma for a year now and loved it to death, but I've gone through multiple batteries, they die on me every month or two and my mpack has also died(mind you i live, litterally 5 minutes walk from the store here in hawaii, and the guys there don't even ask, i just hand them a dead battery and they give me a new one). I got my inferno yesterday, I vape A LOT I've gone through half a bottle of juice and this thing is still putting out vapor like crazy on the same battery, right out of the box, 24 hours later. It's awesome. Yes, it's big but it has lasted me longer than two magma batteries and the mpack had ever lasted me, even right out of the box. It's easier to cary around one highlighter sized pv then it is to carry the mpack and plus there's no unscrewing/drippage in my pocket. Overall I believe the inferno is much more bang for your buck than the magma. I can't comments on other brands/models because after i found out i live down the street from the volcano store I haven't shopped anywhere else. Anyway, sorry for the tldnr nature of this post. Hope it helped!
Cheers

Now that I have realized that the inferno is actually a cheaper kit, minus the carts, is the Cisco Atty with Drip tip really that much better? I am buying spare/replacement attys with the starting kit, mostly so we can try both the usb pass through and the bigger 1kmah battery at the same time. I personally plan on drip/dipping rather than using cartridges, so I was going to get a spare atty with tip, but the cisco one takes care of that.

I sure did, hell, if my friends don't like the way it looks, maybe I will just vape on flavors at my computer. I never personally liked analogs (tried them maybe twice), and snus nearly knocked me off my feet, so it is more of a hookah stand in I guess. I am really excited, I will have a cisco atty on teh 1kmah batter and a magma atty on the pass through, I think I will drip the cicso with the 0 nic watermelon and use the blue punch on the pass through for my test at least, then later Tuesday night I will let my friends have a go at it.

What should the charge time be? Also any other prep to get them running well so my friends don't have anything to complain about when they try them?

Just so you know... a magma is the same thing as a 510, the inferno is the same as an ego or riva, and the volcano is the same as l88b or blu. There are alot of names out there for like 3 different products. Also, the ego/inferno is the same thread size as the 510/magma, and is essentially a different battery for the same device. So in the future, if you want extra atomizers etc..., for your inferno, you may find ego or even 510 atomizers and carts to be quite a bit cheaper. I would also highly reccommend 510 cartomizers for extended use.
