Hi all

I'm new...again. I didn't make the switch when I came on here in the past. So I'm considering trying again. My daughter has vaped for about 4 months now after smoking 10 years. I've smoked cigs .... I don't even want to say how many years. I'm looking for older groups to relate to, 60 and up, with many years of cigs. I'm curious how it's helped them, and how long they've been vaping (with the scares in media - but beginning to believe it's all the gov because of taxes, and other reasons). Anyway, hi everyone.

I don't quite make your age bracket, but I did smoke for over 20 years before I switched to vaping six years ago. As to how it's helped, I had pneumonia each spring for the last four years I smoked. In the six years since the switch, I've had precisely zero bouts of pneumonia.

Howdy and welcome

There are really a great deal of old farts such as myself around here. Many of us have been vaping using e-cigarettes as long as vapes e-cigarettes have been around in our respective locations. The forum is very international.

There a lot of people here who feel their lives were literally saved by this stuff. I think it likely a few will chime in. Mine hasn’t literally been saved, I don’t think, but I’m a somewhat unusual case. It has improved my quality of life drastically.

We keep as close an eye on what is going on legislation wise as is possible for people completely outside of government.

There have been a large number of very sudden and severe changes that have happened extremely quickly lately on a world wide scale.

If you want to get educated on the mechanics or health aspects or where and what to buy or do where and why we are happy to help. We can even tell you what we know of what is going on legislation wise, though it’s often not much and always less than I personally would like to know.

Newbie to a newbie! I Smoked for 45 years, last several years 2 1/2 packs a day. I’m nearly a year vaping and no cigarettes. I never, ever thought I’d quit!!

I think the average age here is 50 to 55, you not that many youngsters...welcome. been vaping 8 years after smoking for over 30 and its unbelievable how my health has changed. The only advice is to not skimp on the nic, if doing mtl, get a fairly high nic juice, like 18mg and if that's still not cutting it, 24.....good luck
