New and finding juice selection hard

The tobacco shop I bought my first setup from carried Johnson Creek.

I fell in love with their Tennessee Cured, and then set aside the last that I had for later. (couldn't really afford what at the time seemed to be high prices - $13 / 15ml)

Ran across the 1 ml left-over a couple of weeks ago and excitedly put it in a fresh tank!

OMG, what in the world did I ever like about that????

Turns out my affection for the tobacco flavoring had completely gone away, and it tasted like rubbish :(

So the moral of the story is that yes, your tastes will evolve along the way.

I find I do most of my flavor shopping these days is mostly in the bakery aisle, and toss in some strawberry shortcake, or orange dream ice cream bar along with caramel coffee for dessert! :D
Yeah I don't like tobacco flavors anymore either. I'm a vanilla custard, ice cream, caramel candy type of guy.

How much time has passed since you tried it again? Apart from evolving tastes, it could be that the tobacco blend aged into something that's too different from the out-of-the-box flavor.

Good question...

It tasted exactly the way I remembered. Probably because it likely had sat on the shelf at the store for awhile, and I also stretched it out for quite some time here. (Special occasions treat ;)

A couple of months ago, I had set my brother up with a couple of tobacco flavors and tested a couple... ewwww & yuck. 8-o

I was a menthol ciggie smoker too, (4 weeks ago) for the first week and a half I kept a menthol tobacco one in a little eVic for that before and during coffee and after meal urge. It goes away and then tastes nasty after a week or so, and I"m more into the fruits and custards now/ice creams now.

I went to my local Vapor store and sampled some of the menthol tobacco flavors and bought a 15ml bottle and 24mg, for that first hit in the morning (I smoked about two packs a day) Now four weeks later I'm weaning down to an 18 mg (was vacuuming and got sweaty and red, so time to go down on the nicotine *lol*) and my taste buds are so back! and I rarely if ever get the "I want a cigarette with this" urge, I just grab whatever I'm vaping.

You can do it!!!!

I agree that if you continue vaping you will probably try juices other than tobacco that you may like better. But, I don't think it's due to your taste "changing or evolving" so much as you "discovering" that you like other flavorings that initially didn't "sound" appealing to you.
Many smokers think they want as close a replacement to their current cigarette as they can get. Then they later find something like an RY4 or other flavored tobaccos are more to their liking. They may discover that fruit flavors taste good also and/or candies etc. But many continue to keep a flavored tobacco blend as their all day vape. I don't know the percentage of tobacco vapers but some polls show that it is high. This could be that there is always an influx of new smokers to vaping at any given time. But then again, I know more people that vape tobacco blends as adv's than any other flavor. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/polls/209041-do-you-vape-tobacco-flavors.html

going to a vape shop "flavor bar" may not be the answer to finding a juice you like, but it could be key to finding the type of juice you like to vape. You can try single flavor juices (fruits like pear, strawberry, blueberry; bakery like cinnamon roll or french toast; custards; or tobaccos), then you will at least know what type of juice to look for when ordering online.

Yeah finding a good liquid is a bit of a chore at times. I've hit almost every single local shop that allows you to sample what they have. Bought a few that I thought I initially liked. So far, out of 12,I can continue to stand to vape 2 of them. I've taken to ordering my stuff online, as even with shipping it's cheaper for me to order a 30ml bottle than to walk into a local and buy a 10ml.

since we've started vaping we've had friends/family start too, a daughter, son in law, two cousins and their wives, and four friends, universally they've all done well on Mother's Milk (Suicide Bunny) to start ...

for the "die hards" a couple had been smoking 2 to 3 packs a day and some since they were 9 (men! *lol*) there's a local vapery here that makes one called Brutal Juice for the first couple weeks, I didn't like it, it tasted like a dirty ashtray literally. Because let's face it ..ciggies taste bad (anyone sneak a puff from a friend in the first few weeks and enjoyed the hell out of the draw but the "after" OMG it was awful...Listerine now!)

whatever it is, find something YOU really like and that'll produce those "feel good"hormones in your brain and help reinforce the change in behavior. Well at least that's what's working so far!!

good luck everyone!!
