Hi,
My name is Angie and I am new to this forum as well as e-cigs. My parents bought me a starter kit a cpl of days ago and I am thrilled to be trying it. But I have been doing some research on here trying to learn things but I really have no idea what kind I have. The only thing in the box says "Mini E-Cig" I dont mean to sound silly but, there are different models right? So how do I know what I have, for things like replacement parts and such? I am hopefully attatching a pic ( sorry not the best, its from my phone) I am hoping someone can help me out:)

Well apparently I cant post a pic yet

Thanks ever soo much

Angie

Hi Angie,
Welcome to the forum! Yeah, without seeing a pic of your ecig it's hard to say. Does your ecig use cartridges or cartomizers? A cartridge would just hold filler, a cartomizer has a filler and "atomizer" all in one. That might narrow it down a bit.

You might also check out this link:

There's a LOT of info out there. It can sometimes seem overwhelming. But once you've narrowed down what type of device you have, things will get easier.

Again, welcome to the forum!

The M40X series of e-cigs has an exposed atomizer, (when you pull off the cart you have a wire mesh bump sticking out, and the cart goes outside of the attomizer.)

M401, M402, M403 attomizer

M401, M402, M403 Battery connector

The 901 series atomizer is resesed into a tube that the cart slides into.
Inside of the DSE901

DSE901 Battery connector (DSE901 adapter threaded into a Joye510 batt)

DSE901 Attomizer

Hope that helps

Does the atomizer look like the top pic when you take the cart off? (but still have the atty attached to the battery)

If so its probaby a M401, if not you'll need to take another picture of the part of the atty that gets hot. (Happen to have a set of calipers? measurements could solve this problem quickly.)

If its only 2 pieces it sounds like it uses cartomizers not carts. The atty is actually built right into the cartomizer so you might not want to go taking it apart until you've had a chance to read a little more here on the forum.

I'm sorry I can't help you with model, currently I have 2 models the 510 and the janty stick which both use carts. I'm not familiar with the cartomizer models but I'm sure someone will be able to help you soon.

General rule of thumb is if its 3 parts your dealing with carts, 2 parts cartomizers that may make it a little easier for you in searching out the model.
