For Aspire CE5, Vivi Novas etc.

Please note: the standard Aspire BVC coils will not fit in the Aspire nautilus.

I just picked up a package of these in my local shop. I'm getting a horrible burnt plastic taste using it in my vivi nova on a 3.7 18350 AW battery, any advice?

Well I tried out another one from the package and it worked fine, guess the first one was just bad. Put another into my second vivi nova tank on a vision spinner and it works great at 4.2 .

With all the Aspire coils whether standard or Nautilus, BDC or BVC, I would definitely recommend either leaving to soak in for 5-10 mins before first use of a new coil head, or sucking hard a few times without pressing the switch, to draw liquid in and fully saturate the coil with liquid before first use.

I just tried this for the first time and got a burnt taste on first draw, no vapour on the second and then it was good. I'm not wild about the amount of vapour I'm getting but generally pretty good.

Although fine at lower wattages, the BVC coils really come in to their element at higher wattages, even up to 16w - 20w, without burning the flavour...

I really recommend them with the iStick or iPow 2.
