Knightar85, you could try taking the pod out, close the airflow control and take a few pulls or suck it a few times. As it seems as though your coil isn't getting primed properly and you're cooking off the wicking a little.
If this helps, remember to do this every time you change the coil and prime it.

Are you talking about the new 1.8 salt coils? I’m curious of how they perform.
The green 1.8 Ohm coils use a different wadding material.
In a direct comparison to the traditional 1.8 Ohm coils:
1 - they last twice as long;
2 - get twice the nic from the same juice;
3 - get twice the volume of vape per puff;
4 - use twice the amount of e-liquid.
Because of 2 and 4, I keep using the old style coils. You may have different preferences.

I tried the green nic salt coils and found them to be weak and didn't last that long.
