Finally broke down and got a nautilus and within a few puffs I new this wasn't going well.
i have checked and the coils and tank are legit but the flavor production is easily half that I get from my aspire vivi nova tank with Bvc coils.

this is so frustrating to me because I thought the nautilus was going to be an upgrade....
for vapor production the nautilus is crazy.. Just tons of cloud but that doesn't make the experience... I have some pretty taste riddled melon juice that in the non nautilus Bvc coils is just over the top with flavor and its a thick moist flavor. Very moist fact.
the nautilus Bvc coils give me a less moist and way lower flavor.
doesnt matter the voltage/wattage, it's the same flavor lacking Vape . And I really am not happy.

one thing I will say is that the tube in the nautilus is too long.
i have found and repeated over and over, that the greater the distance your mouth is from the coils the less flavor you get and unfortunately the nautilus is pretty far. Be it a long 510 tip or tall tank like the Naut. The further away the less flavor

has anyone felt the same coming from a great system like the non nautilus Bvc to the nautilus Bvc? Or other tank system.

the nautilus Bdc are also giving me too much burnish and metallic taste so I refuse to use them. I can't even use the vivi nova with Bdc coils anymore after using the Bvc coils.

Yup the voltage increase is there
I noticed aspire has a notice on their site about increasing the min max voltages of the non nautilus coils which I can vouch for I forgot to look at the min max for the nautilus
It looks like they just increased the minimum voltages for the non-nautilus coils, max voltages are still the same, and below what many seem to be using them at. I don't see anything about a change for the Nautilus coils. I usually vape Kanger single coils at 7-8 watts, the 1.8 ohm non-Nautilus BVCs I usually vape at 10-11 watts with the same liquids. Much lower and flavor is muted and they start gurgling. I need to order more coils, might try the 1.6 ohm.

I never said the Naut coils changed. And no the Bvc coil ranges have changed drastically the higher end is higher now especially the higher ohm ones. But that's not what we are here to talk about.

So today has been a complete disaster....
First the damn tank would barely soak up enough juice to Vape above 9w on a 1.8ohm coil ... Then a few hours after I got to work I went out to Vape and the tank had flooded and juice was oozing out the air intake of the tank. The coil was just completely flooded too and juice was everywhere
After cleaning it it got a bit gurgly once but never leaked but the stupid tank won't let the coil stay primed.

I have checked a few coils and none of them have the same air flow when plugging the bottom stem holes.
Yes I know the air flow is limited but there are very noticeable differences in the coils.
So much that I can 100% that many juices above 50/50 won't prime and stay primed properly.
I am realllllly not happy and I can see why so many people report issues.

So I found the issue but have zero resolution since the problem is the coils. I also need to play with seeing if the stem in the tank is blocking the holes on the coils and causing more issues. Which I think it is because if you loosen the top cap 1/4-1/2 a turn juice flows better but there is a massive risk of the tank flooding... For some reason. I assume juice is going up and over the coil and flooding it out.

Here is my experience with the Nautilus and BVC. Holy crap, flavor and vapor. :vapor:
Seriously, I had trouble at first switching from the BDC and the BVC. After realizing what I had done wrong, all is good now. Running 2 tanks, run both at 13w. Hugh flavor and vapor.
What I did wrong was not make sure the coil was screwed all the way in. :censored: Juice was leaking under the coil and into the base. Juice leaked out of the air hole.
After cleaning everything, put it back together and had no problems since.
Also found out that the thicker juice has a harder time wicking. I have one of my tanks with 30pg/70vg in it set my Vamo to 13w and every few hit I get a dry hit. back down the wattage to 11w and it's better.

Aspire - A change to the BVC coils At least according to what Aspire posted on their website the only thing they increased is the minimum voltage for the 1.8 and 2.1 ohm coils. The maximum voltages are still the same.

I adjust to taste. I start a new 1.8 at 7w and increase with useage. By the end of bvc life I'm at 12 to 14w. I use max vg juice from my local B&M. I'm impatient when I change bvc's and will burn the ceramic from time to time. I clean the base every bvc change and make sure it's seated before use in the months that I've owned the mini there was only one minor leak and it was self inflicted improperly seated bvc. It's the same with the 2 clones a friend gave me well almost authentic now the only clone part is the bases lol.

Well seems that anything in the area of 70% VG This thing struggle to keep primed
I watered down some with PG to make less than 50% and it's priming ok but lack flavor as it's watered down

Also 80% flooded today so I am closing the air hole when I am not using it. Seems like in room temps it loves leaking if I don't
This was with 80% VG or the less than 50% I mixed. Grr just not the device I signed up for.
Not when the ET-S BVC coil prime and stay primed no matter the mixture I use

Holes in the Naut BVC need to be bigger
