One more thought: Even if I was not a big smoker, could I have withdrawal sympotms from all the chemicals that were in my cigarillos? I said cigarettes in my post, but it's really cigarillos.

Absolutely. vape isn't a one size fits all. It's not as simple as picking up a stick and lighting one end. I've thrown good money after bad trying to find my level and technique that satisfy's me. You'll get there, you can't put a price on the positive life changes from getting off the stinky's. You're going to have to decide whats best for you.

I have bought USP grade (BP in europe) VG at drug stores and Walmart ($4) to dilute my e juice. When you do this it also dilutes the flavor, but it is a cheap way to go. Headaches are not the most common side effect of PG allergy, but they have been noted. In the end you could find your issues are caused by high nicotine, PG allergy, dehydration, AND getting off the cigs. Just relax and take one step at a time, you'll be smoke free before you know it.

I'm no expert, but if you used them regularly, I would think there could be some withdrawal. It shouldn't be as bad as for those who smoked more though.

I know I can't put a price for positive changes in my life. I think I'm just discouraged that I will have to resort to my cigarillos at the end and it would of been for nothing! I took one this morning because I coudn't support vaping with my e-cig and now i'm coughingh like crazq! It's just that the headaches I have are debilitating right now and even Tylenol or Advil doesn't help me at all! So just a little scared that the e-cig won't be for me...:( But I know it's been only 5 days...

Thanks!

Huh? Hydration is a "placebo" when you're dehydrated?

Katt, you forgot to put on the aluminum foil hat.

While there is some debate as to hydration/dehydration issue and vape, the MAJORITY of vapers SUPPORT increased fluid intake while Vaping.

Where I spoke about dehydration?
Water is placebo when you are not dehydrated but believe you are dehydrated. Like some vapers.

And yes, tongue and throat can get dry when vaping. But you need a tiniest sip of water (or even just saliva, its always with you) to wet them.
