Hey Wonderlite

I would like
2 x AW IMR 18650 (2000mAh) ---------------$10 each = $ 20
4 x AW IMR 18350 --------------------------$8.00 each = $32
1 x WF-139 Charger-------------- -----------$15.50
2 x 15mm Spacers--------------------------$1.75 each = 3.50
Total $71
How Much would the shipping be to me in the South of Thailand
Thanks
therearock; I would ship it, because of the weight, in an INTERNATIONAL USPS PRIORITY MAILER BOX for $16.95.
Regular air-post is just a few dollars less.

Not sure if this is appropriate to post here, but I have always wanted to bring this up in regards to AW. Why is the WF-139 an 'approved' charger? It is known for not following any li-ion manufacture approved charging methods, and it is also notorious for over-charging and trickle charging, two incredibly dangerous things to do with a li-ion battery.

I just don't understand why it is being sold and approved alongside some of the best and safest batteries on the face of this planet? If it's because of it's price, the Xtar WP2 II is infinitely superior in every way in terms of safety and proper charging methods, and retails for about $17. In fact the Xtar might be second best to the Pila IBC in terms of the safest possible li-ion chargers out there right now, which has really surprised many people given its price point.

I never understood why the WF-139 is being given the 'go ahead' by one of the most reputable battery manufacturers. And it's scary to think how many are out there in circulation and how many people think it is inherently safe because its approved by AW. Sure it likely better than some other li-ion chargers, but that isn't saying much as most li-ion chargers, for whatever reason, are not following proper li-ion charging procedures like they should given the danger these batteries present if charged improperly.

Just my :2c: but if somebody could give me an answer as to why, I would really like to know (seriously, I would!). And I am sorry again if this post is out of line and inappropriate. Feel free to have it deleted, or if you want me to I can delete it. But this subject I bring up has baffled me for a very long time now.

ITPython;

I am not sure of where you obtain your technical information, or meaning no insult, wherein your credentials/expertise in this area abound but would certainly like to inquire.

There are many fake WF139 chargers out there. The authentic version will never over charge any LiIon battery and it uses a Samsung IC.
Any problems ever associated with the WF139 charger were caused by knock off, dubious versions bought from budget sites. There are also rumors.
There are many versions out there but the truth is only one version has been made by the original factory.

If you wish to continue, this discussion, in any manner, (by PM preferred), I suggest you post it in a more appropriate forum, dealing wherein technical issues are presented and will be viewed by those associated with the type of necessary technical expertise, who can engage in a meaningful discussion of the pros and cons of the many chargers on the market, in varying price ranges.

FROM WONDERLITE: I appreciate your contrition. It takes a person of good moral standing to admit when they have erred.

EDIT: Sorry, my assertions were incorrect. I apologize for the false information. (FROM: ITPYTHON)

atmosid;

I am very gratified that the package finally arrived. I do not know why it should have taken so long but am relieved it finally did get to you.
I am pleased to say that I still have a 100% arrival/shipping average in spite of the very many orders shipped.

About the charging of the cells: Not overcharging it sounds perfect. Cells will have more cycles. Buy a pila for higher voltage but not overcharge.

Hope to hear from you again in the future.
