KatDarling-I'm curious how you got your BVC to last 5 weeks? Did you keep the same flavor in it the whole 6 weeks or did you switch flavors? Was it a lighter or darker juice if you used the same juice? PG/VG ratio? Did you clean your coil at all?

Jingles, I'm curious too! I've never had a coil last like this one did. Could it be an isolated incident? Guess we won't know til the next one.

I did keep the same flavor in it (NiteLiteVapor Line Rider 65/35 PG/VG) and it's a light color vliquid. Nope, I sure did not clean the coil.

I don't know if this would serve anyone but I kept a record of my fills.

Line Rider in nautilus Mini

8/2 Fill 1.
8/3 Fill 2.
8/14 Fill 3.
8/18 Fill 4.
8/25 Fill 5.
8/27 Fill 6.
8/29 Fill 7.
8/30 Fill 8.
8/31 Fill 9.
9/1 Fill 10.
9/4 Fill 11.
9/6 Fill 12.
9/9 tossed coil.

What interests me about this data is that I was not refilling the tank too much initially. I wasn't sure I liked the vape on the BVC coil, but as time went on, it was as if the coil broke in and just kept getting better and better.

Hope that answers all your questions, Jingles. If not, I'm happy to help where I can. :)

I know! I'm shocked, too, believe me, and just have to wonder had I not destroyed the coil yesterday just how long it would have cranked on.

As I said, when I first got the Nauti Mini, I wasn't sure I liked the vape on it/from it. I'm a karto tank girl all the way, so using clearos was at best an odd experiment for me, but I did want to try the BVCs. I ended up liking them a lot. Enuf to give up my kartos? Nope, but for a clearomizer coil, they are definitely good. And I believe the reason they ARE so good is because of how they are designed: Just like a kartomizer. ;)

How hard-pulling was this coil? Did it as time went by get harder and harder to pull on?

That seems to be my reason for changing coils, they simply become like sucking fudge through a straw. I do like an airy draw so I really want to know how this one changed in this regard?

Again, quite a mysterious thang.... the vape did not change. It was plenty airy during the entire time.

I dunno, guys, but I'm starting to think instead of putting it in the trash, I might monumentalize it into some sort of lucky charm rabbit's foot! :D

So from looking at your log I have a question.
How much juice did run through the coil in 5 weeks. I see where you went days with a refill.
Just curious. .

Sent from my iPhone

Jake, each time I filled, I did a full fill (from the lowest level), and in terms of your question, I'm not sure what the mini holds.... 1.5ml? 2ml?

Whatever it holds, that's what I put in each fill, so 12 times whatever it holds.

I went days without a refill because I vape a variety of devices. :)

I'd love to read more info and reviews? I've pre-ordered mine, and have already a supply of BVC coils. I am hoping to read this can be even more airy than the Nautilus is? I love the Nautilus, but wish it would be a touch more airy than it is, plus I do like the looks of the Silo. So May I read more feedback from those that are already using one please?

I'm using the full size silo. Much more airy than the naut mini. Has a slot instead of a round hole. Twice as big as the biggest nautilus mini hole. It's good.

Saw Todd's review (nice) - pre-ordered mine day before yesterday, website states not available until the 19th, yet I just now got my shipping notice :) So, we shall see.

I honestly don't know whether or not to call this a 'clone' or not. Rumor has it that it's built by the same maker of the Nautilus, just slightly different SPECs. Regardless, I own two Nautilus toppers, and soon to be one of the Silo toppers - so will see for myself which I prefer.

Last night Beyond Vape sent me my shipment confirmation as well. The Silo is produced by the same maker as the Nautilus, but IMO looks a lot BETTER!!

Looks while important to me, are secondary to how it vapes. I am hoping it is more airy - as that tends to be the reason why I changeout coils. Sadly my ADV seems to be hard on coils - different flavors of vanilla in 65PG/35VG, but rather dark in color, I am lucky to even get one week in my nautilus.

How about for us that prefer a tighter draw?

Can the Silo be dialed down to at least the level of the Naut Mini's 2nd smallest hole???

rounding third and heading home...
This is pretty nice... Certainly has a more attractive look than the nautilus...

And could be the first time, at least that I have seen, that a US company made a clone of a Chinese device! :)

it may be "designed" in the US but it isn't made in the US-beyond vape is adding their name to different products ,getting some cosmetic changes, and re-branding the products as beyond vape. they have done the same thing with the sigelei zmax flattop-even keeping the same chip. it would have been nice if they had put in a newer chip than the old 33.3hz board it already has. the bottom line is beyond vape is basically just rebranding different products to form their own line. they aren't manufacturing anything new and certainly not here in the US. whether their slight changes in the different products are worth it is up to each buyer to decide, but the original zmax v5 is good enough for me without paying the extra $ for their "spire mod". some air flow changes in the tanks they have produced may well be worth it for some vapors, for others, the originals may be just fine. YMMV
