My sister got me a couple of great books this year for Christmas. The one I laughed out loud about when I saw the title was "How to Raise a Jewish Dog." My husband didn't think it was as funny as me, but I thought I'd let my friends judge. If you like these blurbs, I'll continue. If you don't, I won't continue.

Under the Chapter of 'Getting Started,' the AKC Breed Groups and the Effects of Being Raised Jewish:

(If you have a specific breed you wish information on, just let me know!)The Toy Dog.....Chihuahua, Maltese, pug, papillon, Pekingese, Pomeranian, and Shih Tzu..........Bred for aristocracy, some literally as 'lap dogs' to warm hands and laps of royalty in pre-industrial eras........Effects of Being Raised Jewish: Expectation of being pampered will be unchanged, but may show new interest in art, music, theater, etc.

Now as everyone knows, I have a Maltese and she told me she would like to go to the Smithsonian and a Broadway show this next year. Laughter is great for your overall well-being!
